Tap at Marciero. Fruity, resinous aroma, some caramel, rich stone fruits. Deep amber color with a fine, lacy head. Nice enough flavor, cherry, muscat, peach, plum, pine, a bit of chocolate. Full. Ok, but not enough flavor for the strength, and a bit too thick. Very old school.

Eh. Bitter. Would have been better if complemented by some other kinds of hop. Not bad but not good either. gmb5127 (234) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 2, 2013
A solid beer, however it is surprisingly bitter. It’s nice but there doesn’t seem to be much complexity to it. Beerathon (1683) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 22, 2013
For having "100% Columbus hops" it’s impressive that so many hop notes come out in this brew. A bit of earthiness, spice, and slight piney and citrusy nose. Nice dry finish. Overall and enjoyable 2XIPA. Boutip (6397) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 20, 2013
Bottle: Poured a bright orangey color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrus and floral aroma is quite engaging. Taste is also dominated by citrus notes with some floral undertones and some lightly sweet caramel malt notes. Pine notes are also noticeable. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. A bit too sweet for my taste but still extremely enjoyable.

#4615, bottle. copper gold pour. sweet tea, orange, caramel maltiness. medium bitterness. not boozing but has some oomph to it. medium mouthfeel. decent but a tad too sweet AndyW68 (1554) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - SEP 16, 2013
Hazy orange gold pour with a light white head. Aroma is sweet artificial pine. Taste is citrus and pine hippy. Mild bite at end. This would have rated much better just a few years ago, but competition is getting better. Braudog (6763) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - AUG 21, 2013
Bottle. More or less the standard pour -- golden, amber with a super firm, pillowy top of white foam. There’s little aroma, just a hint of pine. The beer drinks with a decided astringency, finishing with a super dry earthy, sap-based acidity. Sticks with you for a while. Sample from bomber. Orange pour, with a white head. Caramel malt, light citrus, light piney hops, bread, and cardboard. Not a very good IIPA, the bottle might be old. brokensail (16486) - Dublin, California, USA - JUL 28, 2013
Hazed light orange pour with a white head. Smells like old, stale hops. Fish food, cardboard, orange peel, and some body odor. Sweet caramel malt, too. The flavor is a bit better; more citrus forward. Some pine, caramel, and a bit of bitterness. Still somewhat off/oxidized/stale.
