bottle - big, gelatinous, meringue like head. chunky almost. slightly soapy, piney aroma. deep burnt orange color. medium body flavor, a bit resiny but not that fresh hop flavor i’ve come to love. kinda tastes "typical" for an IPA these days - a bit run of the mill. not bad, but nothing really redeeming.
From a 22 oz bottle into a Trumer / Celebrator stem glass. Pours cloudy amber - light brown with head and lace. Aroma of amber malts, light caramel, minerals. Medium carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of amber and pale malts, caramel, yumminess. Overall rich, nicely balanced between malts and hops, darker in color than normal for the style, and it's a bit rough, but I'll take another! Had this with Alyssa, in Seattle. This is a very amber looking IPA. The hops are not floral or citrusy. I don't like it very much. It's bitter without much depth.

On tap at brewpub in Mukilteo, Washington. Pours clear, bright orange-yellow with no head or lacing. Aroma: brown sugar, wet pine cones. Flavor: malt-forward; brown sugar, honey, rye pepperiness, sweet hops. Mouthfeel: medium- to full-bodied. hershiser2 (3878) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - DEC 6, 2016
Bomber from Total Wine. Pours murky orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is syrup at first, but has hints of orange, floral hops, and caramel as well. Flavor is not too syrupy. Kinda earthy undertones below some pine, oily citrus, toffee, soap, and bread crust. bulldogops (2885) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 6, 2016
Rating #2082- 2015.09.27 #CraftTakesSeattle Day 4, Beer 184 - Bottleshare - Pours a darker amber, with a bubbly tan head. Aroma is spicy, earthy hops, mild citrus sweetness, mild pine Taste is extremely hoppy, lots of piney, resinous notes, again subtle citrus sweetness. Fairly balanced in terms of hop profile, and managing the ABV, this is a solid DIPA

Medium copper pour, medium off white head. Nose is caramel. Bitter. Middle is caramel, toffee, spruce. Finish malty bitterness. stevoj (5954) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUN 2, 2016
Bottle from Harvest Foods in Moses Lake. Deep amber with silky beige head. Malt dominates the aroma, nice caramelly scent. Malt also provides most of the flavor, with some hops at the end drying the whole thing out. Close to an English IPA. slowrunner77 (13368) - Reno, Nevada, USA - MAY 27, 2016
Sweet and biscuit malts meet big citrus and pine hops. Better than the standard IPA - still just in the ok range. teamsale (317) - Washington, USA - MAY 6, 2016
Bottle into glass. Pours a semi-clear amber with a two finger white head. Smells fairly standard, nothing special found in the aroma. Really, really nice flavor on this one. Strong malt balanced well with strong hops. Just the right sweetness and perfect bitterness. Scores highest where it counts the most. biirusaikou (2705) - - APR 14, 2016
Bottle shared. Rich green citrus hop bouquet with a minty edge, decent biscuit malt base, quite punchy yet smooth iipa, good stuff.
