Draught @ the brewpub. Pours an almost black color with a tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aorma. Roasted malty chocolate flavor with some hints of coffee. Has a rosated malty chocolate finish. omhper (25349) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - FEB 22, 2006
Draught at the brewpub. Black. Coffee aroma. Fairly sweet. There’s plenty of grapefruity hops to go with the malt derived coffee and licorice flavours. Balanced bitterness. A really good porter! fiulijn (20938) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 16, 2012

Dark brown color, almost black, with beige head. Light aroma of roasted malts. Good structure, with pleasant flavor of dark chocolate and roasted malts (just a bit too roasty for me), at least not too dry; correct bitterness.
Leaning a bit near Stouts, but quite good.
Very dark brown. Roasty aroma w/ some dark fruit. Slighty thin and astringent coffee-roast palate. Some toasty notes, dry finish Overattenuated. bhensonb (15490) - Woodland, California, USA - JAN 14, 2011
Tap at the brewpub. Aromas of burnt malt and coffee. Poured black with a creamy beige head. flavor is burnt malt and omlight coffee. Might be a touch of chocolate. Hop? Seems so. It is finishing nicely bitter.

2010-07-01. Very dark brown body, modest tan head and nice lace. 4+ Flavour has a pleasant but muted sweet malt core, dry roast gains bitterness and coffee grounds character as you go on, which adds to the flavour but is not to my tastes. Roasty aroma has dry coffee undertones, briefest hint of mocha. Average palate is ok but thin for the style. Pretty decent porter. Draught Very dark inky brown with golden sides; nearly no head. Sweet-inky, black autumn leaves, nuts, inviting nose. Very cigarette ash-y, dry black bread and roasted flavours. Dry, not full bodied but true to style. OK porter, I dig it.
