On tap at brewpub. Dark black color Small sized beige creamy head. Strong lacing. Aroma is chocolate and roasted malt. A medium bodied porter. Malts are chocolate and a touch coffee. Slighlty citrusy hops. Nice balance. Smooth taste. Nice porter, roasty malts yet not overly bitter. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Good color, clarity with great aroma. Huge chocolate and coffee flavors. The malts and spices added where awesome. I loved drinking this beer. One of the better porters out there.

On Nitro Tap at the brewpub. Dark brown but clear and dense cramy light tan head, thanks to the nitrogen. Wisps of sheeting lacing as I swirled the glass a bit. Moderate dark roasted flavors and a rich smooth feel. A nice offering.

Draught in a flight at the MLT brewpub. Pours a near black color, as it should. Nose is light and slightly roasty. Taste is similar, with some roasting in there, as well as some coffee. Decent drink, but doesn’t seem overly complex.
