Bomber from Hayduke. We had a bottle together via facebook chat. This poured cloudy tea colored and had a nice off white fluffy head. Some light fruit and malt in the nose. The flavor is much too sour as if it were over hopped. That sourness is pervasive. Some light fruit, malt, and spices are tasted but the sourness cannot become overcome. 22oz Bottle shared with no one, drank on 7th July 2014 at mt daughters place in Newport Beach CA. Not like any other ’Vienna Style Ale’ I have come across before. Poured a hazy orange with a scummy white head, the sediment keen to get out the bottle. Slight malty sweetness followed by a sour off-ish sort of aroma and taste: infected yeast or something? Tried to enjoy it, but failed. CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - NOV 28, 2011
22oz bottle: Pours a clear orange bronze with a stringy-lacing off-white head. Has a lightly sweet grainy malty nose with a hint tart fruits and noble hops. Starts with average fullness and light malty sweetness with a good balance of bittering hops before a drier finish. Might have a slight infection going on, but it’s showing up more in the nose than the body. obguthr (6344) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - JAN 6, 2012
Honey and hay nose, with earthy potting soil accents. Cloudy orange amber, medium yellow head. Pronounced dirt flavor within a tart malt base. Walnut finish. Pale and tart for the style, but not boring at all. reebtogi (6267) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 12, 2012
650ml bomber pours a pale amber color with a finger of white head that leaves some thin spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is cereal grains with some hints of caramel and light fruits. Taste is a light fruity and grainy malty sweetness with a light grassy hop bitterness. Light to medium body with some decent carbonation. A nicely done brew for the style and quite refreshing and flavorful.

Crisp, slightly hazy copper coloured body with a thin, one centimetre tall off-white head with a nice amber glow - very nice looking and perfect for the style. Aroma of pale malt, nice fresh and light (perhaps German) hops with a bit of a lemony freshness and a hint of caramelised sugars at the end. Light-bodied; Sharp metallic malty notes at first with a good dose of light hops in the mix, some lemons and citrus, a bit of caramel and a light grassy and nuttiness to finish it off. Aftertaste shows a good malty kick, but little else, however - it is very muted and doesn’t show any offensive bitterness or alcohol warmth at the end. Overall, a nice beer for the style - light and crisp with the maltiness hitting home first. Good to sample to get a good representation of the style and great if you like this style a lot! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Total Wine in McLean, Virginia on 07-November-2012 for US$3.99 sampled at home in Washington after returning from Washington State earlier in the day on 12-January-2013. Bottle. Copper pour with a short, foamy white head. Aroma is sweet malt, caramel and dark bread with soft, spicy hops. Taste is spicy hops, caramel, dark bread and soft berry/fruit notes. Body is light-medium with a soft, creamy carbonation. Ends with more spicy hops, soft fruit, caramel, dark bread and malt notes. dwyerpg (6180) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - OCT 28, 2011
A light aroma of something that I can’t identify, but don’t really like. First sip has some hops right away, than malt and very tinny finish that is quite bad. Not that good. Cybercat (5832) - Georgia, USA - OCT 28, 2011
Strong, malty aroma has a nice and tempting fruity overtone. It pours a slightly hazy coppery amber with a decent off-white head. Malty flavor has a firm hoppy undertone and just a hint of fruit. Smooth, firm-bodied texture has a decent amount of fizz to it. Definitely worth a try. BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - JAN 22, 2009
Taster – Diamond Knot Brewery – Mukilteo, WA
Good color, clarity with good aroma. The beer was rich with flavor and had a nice dry finish this was a ice beer to start with at Diamond Knot. Perfect for a hot day this was a nice lager with great malts and hops.
