Bottle poured an orange-amber color with a fairly large off white, frothy head. Aroma of vegetables, yeast, caramel, bread, and a touch of vanilla. Flavor was very bready with a good dose of vegetables. A touch of wateriness and fruit. Just ok overall radagast83 (8446) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - OCT 30, 2011
Poured a orange/amber color with a pretty thick white head, slowly dissipating. Aroma is a bit on the sweet pale malts side, flavor is also a bit unrefined but drinkable. SudsMcDuff (8488) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - NOV 11, 2011
Never been the biggest vienna fan but this was decent .. . light tan .. medium foam head, dies down a bit- light lacing .. . light malts, breakfast syrup also .. . pretty simple, but nothing offensive either .. . . Let’s kick some names and take some ass. brokensail (16645) - Dublin, California, USA - JAN 7, 2013
Amber pour with a khaki head. Nose is sweet bread and toasted malt, a bit of cardboard, some orange peel, and an interesting fruity character. Esters, perhaps? Tastes of caramel, bread, and toast. Some cardboard, orange peel, grass, and sweet fruits. Just kind of sweet and not much else going on. ABUSEDGOAT (2847) - California, USA - OCT 22, 2013
Amber colored, moderate head, decent lace/retention. Aroma is toast, bread, light spicy hop. Lighter bodied, quite drinkable. Pretty nice, nothing overly complex but still enjoyable.

22oz bomber pours a hazy brownish amber color with a medium off white head with light lacing. Smells of toasted nuts, lemon and toffee. Tastes sweet but a little tart as well. Seems off or slightly infected. Mouthfeel is medium and creamy with good carbonation. I had a hard time finishing this. I’ll have to taste the next batch to make a true review. jcnielsen (3416) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - FEB 1, 2014
Bottle. Pours a hazy golden orange color with white head. Sweet bread, doughy, lemon aromas. Lemon, earthy, tangy, bread flavors. Alright, but a bit sweet. Brigadier (3750) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - FEB 13, 2012

This was a discount offering from a trip to Washington, DC. Now I know why - it is an average and unremarkable vienna lager. Maybe it is better fresh but the taste profile here was lackluster. Only the low price tag keeps it from dropping a few more points.
Aroma / Appearance - Cloudy liquid the color of watery maple syrup poured from the bottle and was soon embraced by a thick white head. The nose is warmed over maple syrup on wheat pancakes, sweet icing on a plain cupcake, and not much more. Thin and confusing this is mild as if waiting for permission to show its full colors.
Flavor / Palate - Semi-sweet chocolate chips, caramel and a dry yeasty finish are the main aspects of a relatively dull profile. The finish is a bit nutty and makes me wonder if this lost a bit of its edge in traveling from coast to coast. For that reason I wouldn’t mind trying another Diamond Knot beer - this time on the West Coast near the source.
Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a moderate white frothy head. Slight, yet malty nose to this. Taste is also malty, like a fermented cereal. Meh.
