Ungstrup (37284) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - FEB 17, 2007
Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is very sweet and very hoppy giving it notes of grass as well as citrus. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of grass as well as some citrus, leading to a very dry and bitter end, where the grass lingers around.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity hoppy grapefruit aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter finish with grapefruit in the aftertaste.

Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 18, 2007
(Bottle 65 cl) This pours a pretty, warm, hazy amber colour with a dense and delicious, creamy, off-white head. Fresk, slightly perfumy hop aroma. Medium-bodied with sweet caramel malt and then very fresh and delicate - although quite soapy - hop notes. Yum. Courtesy of Degarth. 170207

omhper (24969) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - FEB 20, 2006
Draught at Concordia, Portland. Clear dark amber. Rich hoppy grapefruit aroma. Sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Mindblowingly hoppy. Resiny finish with approximately a gazillion IBU. Crazy stuff.

Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 27, 2005
UPDATED: MAR 4, 2006 New rating: Dull dark colour with haze. The aroma shows grapefruit, wood. Chewy character with toffee and resiny hops. Fat bitterness.

Original rating: Dark, hazy, amber-brown colour. Earthy aroma with a hint of citrus and malt. Thick, clean, crystalmalty body balanced with lots of bitterness but surprisingly understated aromatics for a PNW IPA. Ar 6 Ap 3 Fl 7 P 3 Ov 12 = 3.1

mcberko (17178) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 15, 2010
22 oz. bottle, pours hazy orangey amber with a big white head. Aroma of rye, citrus hops, caramel malts, and a fruity character. Flavour of strong rye, bitter hops, and fruity characteristics. Unique, exquisitely flavoured.

Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 18, 2007
Bottle at ØLbutikken (Their 2 year birthday) - thanks to Papose. Unclear dark amber - offwhite head. Nice sweetness, nice hoppy, citrus, resin, grass, nice bitterness, straw, hay, medium malty.

bhensonb (15088) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 4, 2007
Aromas of caramel malt and citrusy hop. Dark, red tinged, amber color with an off-white head that rapidly diminished. Medium bodied. Moderate carbonation with no bite. Toasty malt sweetness. Good balancing hop, which I still think is citrus, but could be floral. The finish is almost dry, and the bitter is wonderful. Warming alcohol arises. What a great ale.

3.9
argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 28, 2004
Big beige head atop a floatie-filled opaque copper. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, pine, caramel. Taste is moderately sweet, pine, grapefruit, caramel, melon, light mint. Creamy medium-full body, alcohol well hidden.

3.1
Lubiere (13783) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 12, 2004
Deep orange with floaties. Light hops in aroma with alcohol and apples. Harsh hops with band aids, acrid, bilous...way too much hops. Medium bodied. Bottle sampled with TiggMtl, MartinT, muzzlehatch and Rastacouere.
