This is a rich, smooth, chocolatey stout. Though savory and robust not as filling as many stouts are. It doesn’t appear to be in wirde destribution so when you see it stock up. I know I will. tokyogoat (1503) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 7, 2010
Not a great beer at all, not terrible, I wouldnt buy it again. I was expecting substantially more. a tad bland.

(bottle - 12 oz) Dark brown pour with more than half of the glass being thick tan foam. Light roasted chocolate malts at the start of the nose with some lightly roasted coffee hints as well. Some sweetness. Roasted malts at the start with a nice coffee middle. Some very light cream sweetness comes near the end with a heavy roasted bitterness at the end. Way, way, way too carbonated. 12oz bottle. Opaque dark brown with ruby tints, nice thick creamy head. Aroma of semi-sweet cocoa, and some roast coffee. Very smooth, slightly sweet chocolaty flavors. Well balanced bitter roastiness with some coffee notes. Very solid stout. Beerona97 (2399) - Washington, USA - JUN 3, 2010
Pours solid black with a bubbly brown head that leaves a small ring. Aroma of caramel and chocolate malts. taste is sweet with lots of creamy malt body and a slightly burnt bitter finish. Soft carbonation. Very nice but not overdone.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark chestnut brown with a creamy almond coloured head. sweet roasty chocolate aroma. Creamy, silky mouthfeel, lots of chocolate and roast, a little ashy, some nice lactic sweetness in the end. Very enjoyable. Beerdrinker79 (2188) - Idaho, USA - MAY 15, 2010
22 oz. bottle- Pours black with almost no head yet again, aroma is chocolate, not bad. The flavor is mellow and creamy with an underlying bitterness, not a bad cream stout, doesn’t push any boundaries though. Rciesla (5607) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - APR 23, 2010

pours dark brown, light mocha head.
aroma of sweet dark fruit like nose, light roast, medium chocolate bitterness.
flavor, 2nd Dick’s beer that appears to be slightly under expectations, keeps a lactic like palate, some roasted malts, dark fruits; currants, caramel. Medium carbonation with a lingering fruit sourness that I got in the previous Dick’s, light bitter chocolate with roast finish. There is something off with the few beers I’ve had from them. philbertk (1873) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 16, 2010
