3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Serving: from tap at Stellar Pizza, Ale, and Cocktails.
Aroma: light floral hops.
Appearance: small, light brown, initial head that quickly dissipated. No lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Clear, dark-red/brown body.
Taste: lightly sweet, fruity, initial flavor and finish with average duration.
Palate: medium bodied with oily texture and soft carbonation.
Overall: very good.
Weak dark ale
The Original C.D.A., Dick Danger Ale is a non-intrusive dark ale which defies all style guidelines. A large percentage of black malt give this distinctive ale its dark brown/black color and slightly roasted flavor. The Magnum hops provide a backbone of bitterness and large late additions of Mt. Hood hops lend good flavor and aroma in the finish. Dick Danger Ale is Dick’s Brewing flagship beer and is the first beer created by late Founder, Dick Young.

UPDATED: DEC 27, 2017 Pours a cloudy cloudy dark carame cooor with a tan head. Taste is malty upfront with a stiff bitterness that turns sour in the finish. Not sure if it was intentional. shrubber85 (11706) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - DEC 16, 2017
Bottle. Sour milk, chocolate malt, and hay aroma. Cloudy brown with large tan head. Moderately sweet light chocolate malt, moderately sour lactic acid, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Okay body. Not very pleasant.

Dark brown with a near white head. A bit of dark fruit with some caramel malts. Not a lot of aroma, honestly. Thin to medium body. Has malt and fruit in the flavor. Not all that interesting but not bad. petewhitley (570) - Nagoya, JAPAN - DEC 30, 2015
caramel, nuts, brown, white foam, lightly bitter. Subtle, but delicious malt/hop combination aroma. Dark brown, yet a bit clear. Near perfect combination of sweetness/bitterness. Very refreshing on the tongue; lingers slightly, disappears. Light enough for sessions. Rare combination of qualities. Ferris (17070) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 18, 2015
Draft - Light toast and some dark fruits. Clear dark copper brown with a rich white head. Toast, light dark fruit and nice rich malts. Decent.
