Had at the brewpub in Centralia. This is some seriously hoppy beer!! A good over-the-top hoppy IPA. I think 1 pint of this has more hops in it than an entire case of Budmilloors. Being a hophead, I liked it. For others, this could cause hop overdose. From the beer menu at Fred's Rivertown Alehouse 'On a hop scale of 1 - 10, this is an 11'. A fine example of an IPA that WILL ROCK YOU.
SISSIES BEWARE.. HOPHEADS PROCEDE AND ENJOY!!! (This is claimed to be 94 IBU..)

UPDATED: JUN 2, 2011 12oz. Bottle. (From my blackberry). Pours golden/amber, clear with a thick and frothy head. Taste is very refrehing, bitter and lively. Very good beer. cyanescens (159) - Seattle, Washington, USA - APR 25, 2007
It was pretty good beer. Bitter. My bottle said 5.5%, not six. Seemed very typical, nothing is really out there. Solid IPA, but not my first recommendation to a newcomer in the world of IPA. schm1005 (151) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 14, 2003
This beer has an almost harsh bitterness. Low aroma but this is better than most Dick's beers. It is okay though, just not fantastic. rich42 (128) - USA - OCT 18, 2002
perhaps the most bitter tasting beer I've ever had. pallate is oily (presumably from the hops), the nose is sharp but floral. we are talking serious hops here. unlike some other extreme IPA's I've had - it doesn't have the malt / alchohol to back it up - so the experience is kind off-balance. predominant flavor seems to be citrus / grapefruit.
if you are a -serious- hophead you might enjoy this stuff - for me it's too much.

From a bottle. A good IPA - nice bitter finish. Nothing particularly outstanding, but very drinkable. HopDevil1979 (117) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - JAN 7, 2007
An enjoyable IPA with a fruity oder and good hoppieness. Ever so bitter, which is what gets me going. Would drink again. Pours medium amber w/ smallish head. jonwell (104) - Huntington Beach, California, USA - MAY 21, 2004
12oz bottle, ~50 degrees, brewed in Washington.
Pours a light orange/yellow with a fluffy and firm white head. Very attractive. The head is almost merangue like as it recedes- makes wierd little bumps. Aroma is sharply grassy, slightly lemony, a tad soapy, a bit antiseptic. Not bad. Flavor is suprisingly malty, quite bitter but not harsh, has a bit of tangy hop flavor around the middle, but not much. Maybe a bit lacking in the flavor department for me. It is pleasent and refreshing though, good for a hot-ass day like today. It’s more of a NW pale ale than an IPA, aside from the sharp bitterness maybe.

Great IPA not overpowering in hops. Well balanced. Would buy again and again. jdp (59) - Washington, USA - JUL 16, 2007
On draft at Dicks Brewing Company. This is a good IPA. Decent amber color with ok off-white head. Has a good hop flavor and as it lingers you get a bit of the malt. Very drinkable and could be an everyday IPA. Unfortunately, it’s not distributed where I live.
