COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
DIEBELS Alt is brewed according to the German Purity Law of 1516. Under this "Reinheitsgebot", only four ingredients are allowed: Barley malts, hops, yeast, and water. The dark-roasted special malt lends DIEBELS its unmistakable amber glow.

Dark and Delicious. For a dark, flavorful beer, DIEBELS is surprisingly light and drinkable - a beer you can enjoy all night long. It isn't bitter like many ales, and it doesn't have the strong aftertaste of certain imports.

Grumpelmies (318) - GERMANY - DEC 8, 2016
Chestnut brown. Good head. Smell: Malt and some German noble hops. Taste: Caramell, bread, hops, nuts. A faint sourness rears shortly it’s head. Very "süffig". Decent carbonation and nice mouthfeel. Good balance between sweetness and bitterness. Though I am fully aware that this is just an industrial beer I have to admit I quite like it. Draft is even better.

Mediocre beer. No flaws detected, but nothing interesting here. Really not worth buying again.

Derbeth (946) - Kraków, POLAND - SEP 22, 2016
Bottle. Dark copper colour, nice head that stays quite long. Aroma is rather empty, mostly coffee. Light bitterness. Medium body. A bit disappointing - I expected it to be richer in taste.
