kkarpfen (33) - - MAY 28, 2015
Bottle from Auchan. Pours a clear brown with white head. Nose is roasted malts, hay, some Popcorn. That does not sound too terrible so far. But. The taste is way too sweet, super malty with no hops in sight, and rather one-dimensional. It reminded me of Karamalz, a fake malt "beer" that we used to drink as kids, but not in a good way. The aftertaste is unfortunately very long lasting, it just will not leave. Trying this beer is a long term commitment.

eduardovl (1474) - SWITZERLAND - DEC 21, 2014
330ml bottle served in its own tulip-like glass. Pours a clear dark amber color forming a small white head with low retention and very few spotty lacings left in the glass. Sweet malts and caramel in the nose. Lager bready yeasts. Flowery hops. Taste is slightly sweet with strong notes of pale and crystal malts. Hints of roasted malts. Very malty and bready. Light body, medium carbonation. Caramel aftertaste. Medium drinkability. Fair. [Enjoyed in a restaurant in the center of Luxembourg city during a business trip - 06/04/2014]

mjik83 (1649) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - DEC 6, 2014

Clear amber with a frothy beige head. Nose is near to fruits, bonbons and a bit of caramel. Body is light, carbon high, texture thin. Taste is sweet. Palate is dominated by sweet fruits, plums, herbs and honey. Simply all sweet stuff. Sweet is also aftertaste. [email protected]

Vlakke smaak. Weinig karakter. Noem je zo’n bier grand cru en heeft het nauwelijks meer smaak dan is er iets mis...

Dit bier houdt zich wat op de vlakte. De smaak is op zich goed maar veel te licht.

Bif (2344) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - OCT 19, 2014
Bottle. Pours a copper color with a thick head. Aroma of malt, fruit, bit of yeast and citrus. Taste of malt sweetness with fruit, bit of spice and yeast. Decent bitterness and a fairly clean finish. Fairly light body, smooth with a nice feel. Drinkable beer, not nothing that will wow you.
