Thanks to blutt59 for sharing this bottle. This is my first beer from Luxembourg. The beer pours a clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is wheat, bready malt and grassy hops. The flavor is a lot of corn and grain with some light hops. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Hmm... my second Luxembourgian beer. This one poured a slightly pale yellow colour with a small white head that went away at a medium pace. Very weak nose, some sourish hopiness I guess and metal. Utterly unimpressive but not offensive I guess. The taste was ok. A nice fruity (peachy) maltiness combined with a light herbal and lemony hoppy bitterness. Too light but balanced I guess. The peach/lemon interplay was nice, but it’s too damn weak. Bofferding was a nice surprise but this one proved to be true to the score.

Pils, boring, bit more malty maybe than some. But generally just a mass produced, watery body and little aroma. Not much more to say.

On tap at Au Bon Vieux Temps. Gold body with tall head. Hoppy. Nice taste. Prickly texture. Soft. Nice finish.

The best-known beer in Luxembourg, tasted from bottle and from can. Thin, lightly sticky, quickly desintegrating head on a standard golden blonde colour with calm sparkling. Simple aroma of pale malts, corn, iron and flowery hops. Neutral taste with tingling carbonation, then sweetish pale malts, finishing relatively long and dry thanks to aromatic hops - a redeeming feature of an otherwise very bland lager.

hayduke (5677) - Eureka, California, USA - JUN 14, 2010
Draft in Vianden, Luxembourg. Poured a clear golden yellow with white head. Nose of light malts and hops. Thin in body. Flavor is malts and some hops. Light bitter finish.

Disappointing. After my review of the Luxembourg beer Battin, I was hoping for more. Watery, flavorless, flat. This was sampled from a 33cl can, so perhaps it was the packaging. Almost a drain pour....

Bamsen78 (5562) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUL 18, 2013
On tap @ Restaurant Academie in Luxembourg. Pours clear golden with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of hops and yeast. Bitter, hoppy taste with notes of malt and yeast, otherwise rather watery. Bitter and mildly sour finish. Drinkable but nothing special.

visionthing (5533) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - AUG 14, 2017
On tap at Cafe Restaurant La Fontaine, Luxembourg. Clear pale golden with a modest, white head. The usual grainy pale lager aroma with hints of hops. Moderate to medium sweet with not much flavour at all. Standard Euro-lager.

zacgillbanks (5506) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - AUG 3, 2015
Bottle from Alima supermarket Luxembourg City. Straw coloured with a thin white head. It has a malty and grassy flavour with toffee and gentle bitterness on the finish.
