Type: 16-oz. can
Glass: Hawai’i Bowl pint glass
From: Barons Market in Alpine, Calif.
Price: $2.99 for a 4-pack
Purchased: March 22, 2016
Consumed: March 26, 2016
Misc.: 2024 13:32 on the bottom of the can (I know 1:32 p.m. for the 13:32, but not sure what the 2024 is)
Saw this for $2.99 for a 4-pack of cans (I think they also had $3.99 for a 6-pack of bottles) and instantly picked it up along with their porter. Found out when I got home that it is under the umbrella of World Brews, so I’m not expecting that much. At least it will be a good value either way.
NOTE: Somehow lost my review from this below this part. Only have my Untappd notes, which were toasted grain, Cascade hops, earthy grass and spoiled plum.

Looks great in the glass. Small head. Decent aroma, but not huge. Clean on the palate...didn’t linger. GSH1976 (307) - Delaware, USA - OCT 1, 2015
Pours a clear amber with minimal head. Aroma reminds me of a strong ale with caramel malt and hints of an almost honey sweetness. There also seems to be a little spice. It tastes like a watered down tripel to me with a somewhat metallic taste and a slightly bitter finish. Thin bodied with light carbonation. This beer is drinkable but I have no idea why it is being sold as an IPA since it lacks just about every characteristic. ads135 (4727) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - AUG 9, 2015
A middling IPA. Not terrible. Golden with a thick head. Unbalanced on the bitter side.

Orange pour with white head. Aroma is light malt and a touch of citrus. Also a touch of perfume on the nose. Light dry malt start with a citrus bitter. Floral notes as well. Not really enough malt to carry the bitter or the abv. Not sure all this abv comes from malt, surely is dry and bitter. Medium body with a touch foamy. do in a pinch. Pour from a 12oz bottle. Amber with white head. Aroma of mild malt and light resin. Taste is malt with moderate resin. A tiny flourish of hops at the finish. Agile. More like an APA Imo. Tasty tho.

19th May 2015: Laguna Niguel, California. 12oz bottle into a Corsendonk badged stemmed tulip while cooking oven chips and Bratwurst. Clear and bright amber pour, white head on top. Pleasant hop nose and flavour: not so ’in your face’ as the West Coast varieties I have been experiencing in California. This is calmer, but still hoppy first and foremost. although the bitterness is tempered by the malt content somewhat. Not for the hop heads amongst us but decent enough and a lot closer to an English IPA than a West Coast of the US style. Bendrixian (1514) - Canadiana, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 24, 2015
Clear brew with amber colour. Hps and pinecones, altough muted are the aroma’s main character but there is a soapy note in this that I can’t shake. American styled IPA but fairly medium body and again that soap taste comes through. not a fan. Bellsfan15 (5) - Portsmouth, Virginia, USA - FEB 27, 2015 does not count
Dieselpunk had surprised me, there beer is very subtle, smooth. Almost a velvety finish. Definitely like this one.
