341ml bottle in Dieu Du Ciel tulip. let me start off by saying, WOW! i don’t often give perfect 5’s, but this one from DDC well deserves it. the colour is a glowing orange. it has a large frothy head and leaves lots of lacing. the hops just smack you in the face when you take a whiff, signature Centennial. up front, there’s a nice maltiness, but again, it’s the hops that dominate. grapefruit, orange peel, passionfruit, guava, pineapple, pine cone, all coming from the Citra, and an intense bitter finish that will probably linger for hours from the Simcoe. this IPA, along with Le Castor’s Yakima are 2 great example of Quebec IPA’s that can hang with the best of the US.

Ottima!!!

My first perfect score, this beer was incredible and memorable. Pours a beautiful hazy peach with a massive frothy head. The aroma is perfect of C hops, tropical fruits, and citrus. Tastes of mango, peach, pineapple, light pine, and caramel malts. Has a chewy medium body with lively carbonation and tropical citrus bitterness. I didn’t think Dieu du Ciel had it in them to pull of an American IPA, but they have done it better.

Top Canadian IPA, and easily in the "best IPA" category. Enjoy it while it lasts.
