Hop/malt in the aroma, orange, with a small vanilla custard head. Highly malted flavour, strong presence of hops, fruity. Full bodied, well balanced, very good bitterness. Wonderful! Damico (3146) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 20, 2012
Pours golden maple syrup mostly unclear with a white head. The aroma is sweet syrupy, hoppy, and boozy. The flavor is similar with booze laying on the palate of a medium syrupy body that smooths out the pilsner well. There are sweet hoppy notes in there in a subtle way. asheft (3125) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 10, 2012
Spicy melanoidin malt and fruity hops along with a background of sweet malt. Slightly hazy gold under wispy white top and ring. Sweet base malt with some sweet herbal and fruity hops flavour: apricot. Very good bitterness to balance the sweet. Faint cardboard note. Medium body, medium carbonation, fruity and faint bitter finish. GonZoBeeR (3061) - ste-catherine, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 3, 2005

Bottle thanks to Crusianbeer. Pours clear gold with white head. Aroma of faint vegitable, nice big earthy hop profile, very malty and spicy. Flavor much the same and kinda sweet. Medium body with medium high carbonation. Solid brew! patricks110 (2800) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 31, 2014
Delicious brew. The pour is a bright and vibrant glowing orange with a bright finger of white head. The nose is funky....with a good dose of barnyard funk, hay, acetic notes and juicy fruits. The mid palate is sweet, toasty and fruity with light funky notes and light bitterness. The finish is a bit bitter with a warm booziness. Overall a nice brew. radiomgb (2686) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 30, 2004
On tap at the brewpub. Orange amber in colour. Intense aroma of spicy-citrus hops, pine, wood, oranges and grapefruit. Flavour was spicey, intense hops, some malt, oranges, peppery. Medium body, alcohol hidden well. FInishes crisp, long and dry. Absolutely stunning. willblake (2664) - Bel Air, Maryland, USA - JUL 20, 2005
07.09.05, 07.11.05 Tap at brewpub. Nearly red-orange pour with fleeting white head. Yeasty aroma, some alcohol presence but not burning. Body is quite thin but oily. Fruity. Short finish. Missing some bitter or grassy hops, etc. It’s a big time brew with a small time flavor, whatever that means? VT (2527) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 19, 2012
341 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden blonde with a very short-lasting white head. Smell is hoppy. Taste is butter (???) and caramel. Some lemon, citrusy bitterness, along with pepper. Did I also detect some pear? Medium bodied, velvety mouthfeel. Very good pilsner - actually reminded me of a Belgian strong ale...but...oh well, it was good!
