Bottle from ericandersnavy. Thanks man! Pours really dark with a slight tan head. Really rich dark toast aroma. Near full bodied with creamy carbonation. Flavor is smokey, toasty malt and chocolate. It is like candy, except it’s not all that sweet. Seems pretty well balanced. There’s a strange pervading flavor - think it’s vanilla. Not a problem. Whatever it is, it blends in well. Very nice. Finishes towards chocolate. Borup (15943) - Albertslund, DENMARK - MAY 17, 2012
Tap at CBC. Black with a beige head. Aroma and flavour of roasted malt, vanilla and chocolate. Ratman197 (15628) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - NOV 27, 2009
Bottle poured a clear dark brown nearly black with a lasting brown head. Aromas of milk chocolate, vanilla, light roastiness and light coffee. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of milk chocolate, vanilla, roastiness and a hint of esspresso with a smooth dry lingering milk chocolate finish. Very tasty dessert beer would go great with a great chocolate cream pie. Bottle from Keg Liquor. Poured black color with medium creamy tan head that lasted with excellent lacing. Aroma is very complex with roasted malt, vanilla and bourbon. Full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Moderate to heavy chocolate bittersweet flavor and moderate to heavy complex dark sweet bourbon finish of long duration. Standout complex beer for dessert or with a cigar.
