Lots of Christmas spice here with cinnamon. Some clove as well. Pours golden with good head and lacing. Light sweet finish. Bottle from Gatineau somewhere. BeerandBlues2 (13322) - Escondido, California, USA - JUL 12, 2014
Bottle shared by solidfunk. Pours lightly hazy yellow with a medium, frothy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is pear esters, black pepper, wheat malt and earthy hops. Flavor is ginger, black pepper, earthy wheat malt, light fruity esters with a dry finish. Light body and moderate carbonation. Lukaduke (3206) - Gray, Maine, USA - JUL 6, 2014
Pours a orange glowing golden color with a finger of sticky white foam. Nose is spiced orange peel, bubblegum, cotton candy and clove. Palate follows with a big sticky sweet backbone that is cut with some bitter clove and dandelion herbal spice, Lingering earthy dusty wheat, ginger, black tea some booze... not really drinking it in season but raging through some shelf picks that I just snagged while in Montreal ! Bottle of Canada high boost gold ale. Fruity aroma offers juicy pineapple, melon. Weird sprucy pine presence. Pungent. Better than expected pretaste as aroma doesn’t come across as overly sweet and boozy. Taste offeres semisweet lightly booze kissed melons spiked with hibiscus and a pine tree. Spices perhaps of the muddled cinnamon or clove variety offered on that lingering finish. Artwork on the Bootle is pretty tame. Better than expected but the hippy high boost gold with muddled some what goopy flower and pineapple hop is not exactly my thing. cmacklin (1174) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 19, 2014

Draft sample. Gold in colour (with no wheat beer haze) and moderately carbonated. Floral soap, coriander, and strong malted wheat dominate the nose. More coriander and wheat in the mouth, along with elements of clove and vanilla. Heavy bodied. Spab (3846) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 22, 2014
On tap at the Only Cafe. Pours a clear golden colour with lasting white head. Aroma is fruity and spicy with some herbal character. Flavour was sweet fruit (apple, etc), interesting spiciness and herbs. Fine carbonation. Pleasant. maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - APR 18, 2014
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours bright orange with a small white head. Nose is sweet and zesty with a heavy focus on lemon rind and ginger. Very Christmas cake forward. Taste is spice driven as they come. Loads of ginger, clove, nutmeg, citric zest and banana. Like a ginger Christmas cake. Odd. Works together well but not my kind of beer robinvboyer (4670) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - APR 6, 2014
341 ml bottle poured into my DDC tulip. Golden pour, big, frothy white head. Aroma of a belgian wit. Im getting corriander, some light citrus and tropical fruit with some subtle spcing, Carb is quite high, but does not detract, mouth feel is perfect. The finish is very low on the bitterness. The cloves really shine in the end, a big clove presence, and earthiness. Tropical fruit, with a distinct clove earthiness round out the finish, and the alcohol is incredibly well hidden. Great beer.
