COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed only once a year to keep you warm during the cold winter months, the Blanche Neige ( Snow white ) isnt your typical wheat beer. Firstly, the level of alochol is surprising and is perceived rapidly both in the bouquet and in the mouth. The spices come through immediately, giving very little room for the usual wheat beer aromas (coriander and curaao). Cinnamon and clove dominate and the flavours are generously well-rounded thanks no doubt to residual sugars. It is therefore a very sweet beer that is best appreciated slowly.

341ml bottle. Clear glowing golden body, small white head with good retention, some floating sediment. A very interesting aroma: yeast, caramel, floral hops, honey, coriander, some exotic fruits (maybe mango). Taste of caramel upfront, followed by a huge wave of bitter herbal hops, yeast, spices, earthy, wormwood. Oily and well carbonated, a bit sticky at the end.

pours almost clear, few particles, small off-white cap, little retention and lacing. very spicy - more in an herbal way, grassy and soapy, fruity esters - bananas. pale malts - residual sugars, hint of wheat acidity. average carbonation, light to medium body - oily, quite nice grassy-citrusy-spicy finish, relatively dry - good mouthfeel. liked it!

Clear golden colour with a frothy white head and lace. Spice and clove aroma. Sweet syrup texture. Pleasant wheat clove flavour. Subtle flavour, very tasty beer. Clean and crisp. Very enjoyable and drinkable ale for the strength.

[5013-20121215] 500mL bottle. Light citrus tangerine perfume aroma. Hazy, light orange brown body with a quick foamy white head. Bitter citrus pine resin hops flavour has quite a pungent citrus pup note. Medium-full body. Interesting but the resin is overpowering. (7/3/7/3/13) 3.3

Another DDC courtesy of Tommy! This one is intense. No pussyfooting this one. Really spiced with tons of clove and a fair amount of sweetness leftover. I get tons of pink bubblegum flavor in this. Tastes like that cheap wax paper covered penny gum. Interesting I suppose but not my fave from DDC.

Very strong clove flavors, thi is great, thick and rich which is odd for a wit, liking it though
