Corne du diable (French for "Horn of the devil") is a contemporary interpretation of the classic English India Pale Ale. This new style, born on the west coast of North America, is characterized by stronger and hoppier beers. The result is a red ale expressing caramel flavours coming from the malt, sharp bitterness and powerful hop aromas, thanks to dry hopping.

Couleur ambre, bonne mousse beige. Nez fruit (un peu litchi) et rsineux. Gout fruit exotique, litchi puis rsineux, doux et note caramlise avec longue amertume, bien houblonne, herbeuse en fin de bouche. Pas mal!

Huge bias here. This is one of the first stronger ale I ever liked with passion. Drink it cold and its citrus flavors will be more obvious, drink it a bit hotter and it will taste way more spicy. ill write a more detailed review at some point. Overall its a very enjoyable beer

Bottle at home. Pours a hazy Amber with a slightly off white head. Light caramel, light veggie funk, lemon, grass, light herbiness aroma. Medium carbonation, medium body. Caramel, lemon, wood, orange, rye, toast... It's OK. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Craig and Lisa last year at Christmas. Been in the cellar for more than a year. Lovely reddish brown with thin tan leather head with nice lacing. Strong biscuit and hop and caramel aromas, with similar flavours. Full, smooth mouth feel. Bitterness in the tail end, but not too much. This is really good.

Bottle. Pale amber color. Pleasant hop aroma, floral, nectar, fruity and a little citrus. Taste: malty, sweet nectar, fruity, good hop bitterness.

Notched 3 and 8. Pours a very cloudy brown with a high level of suspended matter. Below normal head volume, lacing and retention. Nice nose of caramel, toasted malt (somewhat grainy), sweet ripe fruit esters (stone fruit, grape) and very little hop influence. Heavy light body that is smooth. Normal carbonation with a bit of mid-palate effervescence and a fair burst in the finish. The flavor profile is less than average for the style - not bad, but note quite good either. It has a slight caramel note throughout and bitterness is rather mild. An English Bitter hop flavor is present, but rather muted. The finish is a lingering English Bitter hop flavor that seems a bit off. I wont buy this again.

Couleur cuivr, belle effervescence avec une mousse prsente qui colle sur les paroi du verre. Got caramlisant ctoy par le sucre brun! En bouche nous y dtectons une prsence plaisante de pin et dagrume!

Red body with almost no head. Aroma of bitter hops, taste is smooth and light yet still full bodied. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
