Bon travail DDC!
11.5floz twist-off bottle, no freshness date present,, $1.50 paid discounted, pint glass. Disco is an apt visual description as it appears dark golden in color, many particles are apparent, fizz is known, and a there is a billowy head. Smells like berries and various botanicas almplified through a hop dust lens. Palate wise, this beer neuters much what is known of as far as a typical American IPA (not that it is precisely supposed to be). Instead, it it is medium bodied and stone fruit centric. It’s pretty well-balanced and executed, all things considered. This is a six-pack type of beer, not an individually sold by the bottle beer. Strykzone (7422) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - AUG 1, 2017
Bottle. Honey golden with a lot of sediment suspended. This is malt forward and it tastes of alcohol. Belgian yeast notes with earth, spice, and lesser fruit and floral. Honey flavors. HogTownHarry (7012) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - JUL 18, 2017
June 12, 2014 - at Mondiale 2014 - on draught. Hazy yellow-gold with a decent frothy off-white head. Aroma of tart citrus fruit, light cereal, very floral with some resin and alcohol - very appealing, if a bit mild. Intensely floral with tart kumquat/citrus dominating; again, nicely balanced, appropriate IPA alcohol presence. Average body and carbonation, quite astringent with a medium to long back palate coating bitter tingly finish. Very nice - not too sweet, which is a plus. JFF (234) - - JUL 15, 2017

From Bierkraft. In Teku glass. Playing Tales Across Time. Nice citrusy and sweet profile that I suppose comes from the kumquats. Light body and a not much strong yet notorious bitterness. The aroma is a bit weak though. 4 months before bb date Maris (1531) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - MAY 26, 2017
From a 31ml bottle on 7/5/017. Pours a hay orange golden with not much head. The nose is very fruity, with citrus, stone and tropical all in the mix. The flavour begins with lots of sweet citrus, which is quickly met by a very strong, distinctive, resiny, slightly puckering bitterness, with some grapefruit present. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. I can’t say i’ve eaten a kumquat before but this makes me want to try one. Love the balance here. A terrific and unusual IPA. hawthorne00 (3986) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAY 22, 2017
Bottle. Somewhat hazy gold with a white head. Aroma of honeyed tenor-register citrus, bread. Some grapefruit. Brooding. 7+ Quite sweet with bread and that toffeeish citrus you get from marmalade. There’s a lean towards dry and a building bitterness as the end approaches. I like the way it gradually grips towards the end. Bottled in Oct 16, but seems not too old. Deep rather than vibrant. Bottle. Slightly hazy gold with a big sudsy head and aromas of oranges, peaches, a bit of soap and a little mango. Flavor has a really interesting progression that starts with oranges (kumquats, whatever...) then hits a quick note of malt chewiness (kind of doughy), then intense bitterness that is really non-defined but makes the mouth water and the face shrivel. From there things end with a kind of kumquat pith citrus ending. Interesting, to say the least, but it doesn’t really fit well together as a product. It’s more like a jumble of different parts that have been stuck together... Menorman714 (32) - Gambrills, Maryland, USA - MAY 13, 2017
Alewife Baltimore draft. A bit odd. Too bitter in a weird way. Not my favorite aftertaste
