Light light unclear dark amber orange color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, fruity - spicy, maple syruo, licorice, sweet burnt sugar, light alcoholic. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. 
12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy deep orange to amber/brown and with a collapsing tan head. Mild floral and spiced aroma. Flavour is spiced and mild malty. [January 2005 version - sampled July 2005] A hazy deep red beer with a small orange head. The aroma is sweet with lots of wood, but also some maple sirup. Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a sweetish woody malty caramel aroma with hints of maple. Sweetish malty caramel and sugary maple flavor with hints of dark fruit, Has a sweetish malty dark fruit finish with some hints of maple.

ChrisOs Kook Tasting. Hazy amber beer. Maple and bubblegum nose. Semi soft palate, light and airy. Sweet bubblegum well balanced with maple. Finishes soft and semi dry. Sweet but drinkable.
