Pours a very clear golden with a medium white rim that leaves good lacing. Nose is of oak, light butter and light "acetone" (not sure if it is really acetone, if it is then it doesnt feel that bad interacting with all that wood). Some vinegar. Taste is more buttery oak, white wine, vinegar. Lightly tart and the vinegar is not disturbing at all. Some trace acetone here as well. Body is medium, carbonation moderate. Vinous. A pretty nice one! Way better than the Mres one weve had a while back.

bottle shared by mathieuc, thanks bra! pours unclear bright gold with a small white cap offering some retention and lacing. contaminated buttery honey, exotic citrus, dill, light to medium acidity - some complexity with soft acetic peaks; white chocolate, white truffles, tropical fruits, citrus spiked with cloves. moderate carbonation, light body - oily; tart citrusy-woody finish. tasty and complex for sure. a weird beast to exorcize.

750ml bottle @ Alexs. Pours a cloudy straw colour. Nose is great with lots of funky yeasty brett notes. Flavour is just yum, brett, citrus, with funky stone fruit finish.

750ml bottle @ Alexs. Pours a hazy straw colour, with almost no head. Nose is somewhat nail polish like and vinegar. Flavour is acetone, some fruity aspects, vinegar. Not doing it for me :(

Tasting at Alexs on 14-Oct-2016. 2 years vertical.

750ml bottle. Vintage 2014. Pours a hazy blonde with no head. Aroma is fermented fruits/veggies, woody, some slight acetone notes. Taste is pretty the same. Pleasant. Somewhat similar to The Ale Apothecary Sahalie, but not so complex.

Vintage 2015
Cloudy yellow color, large bubbles, disappearing head. Much more funky notes than the regular Exorciste, over the fruity notes, and some cobwebs. The carbonation is a bit too much; the base beer shows some more lemon, than the regular Exorciste, less acetone, and the Brett adds a nice funky note. Astringent in the final.
Excellent.Complex.

Cloudy blond color, almost no head. Very nice aroma: Brett, wood, glue, mild acetone. Quite aggressive acidity, with a nice fruity component, but also some acetic acid, some acetone; soft mouthfeel, not too dry; vinous (white wine). Very good.

750 from Youri. Cloudy yellow orange pour, little head. Its a weird one. It leaked a little on the way, so may have gotten a little O2. The aroma is funky lactic hay, lemon, melon and pineapple at first. Settles into pineapple lemon funk. Flavor is pleasantly tart. Weird but pretty good. A little gassy.

Boutip (6026) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 29, 2016
Bottle: Poured a clear blonde color ale with a nice large foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of tart and funky notes is pretty nice. Taste is a mix between some tart notes with limited acidity, loads of funky notes with some nice Brett notes also discernable. Body is about average with good carbonation. Solid sour beer with nice balance and actually better than the blackberry version.

Bottle - thanks for bringing it back dirty Matt. Clear pale pee yellow with no head - not exactly appealing. Interesting wheat and brett combination, some mild lactic characteristics, vinegar, light oak, some macintosh apples, moderate+ carbonation and mild body, easy to drink, lots of fruit on the palate, somewhat tart, brett. easy to drink.
