Drank on tap (8 oz) at ther Montreal brewpub on May 29, 2013. Honey amber, medium head. Kumquats and sweet aroma of hops, very mild. Taste of dried kumquats, slightly hoppy, very dry bitterness. Too intense and I’m not a fan of disco!

Drank on tap (12 oz) at the brewpub on February 10, 2013. Honey blonde little head. Hoppy aroma kumquats (note: I do not know this fruit so I assume), a little juicy. Dry citrus taste with hints of green hops, fresh bitter herbs. I want to taste some kumquats!

Keg @El Lúpulo Feroz, Oviedo. 15-10-17.
In short: fruity bitter ale.
Did I enjoy it: yes.
Pours hazy golden with frothy white head, Moderate head retention, some irregular scattered lacing. Citrusy, peachy nose, Medium body, average carbonation, slick texture. Taste is quite bitter, some dry, some stale, fruity, ripe, earthy. Enjoyable, but maybe not really fresh.

bottle - Pours cloudy orange with a mild, citrusy aroma. The flavor is sweet and fruity with some hops apparent, but the bitterness is very low for an IPA. I had to re-check the label to make sure that's the style they're calling it. Nevertheless, it's a decent beer.

Date: 30 August 2017 Purchased From: The Wine Emporium Container Type: Bottle 341ml Appearance: Clear orange colour with a ring of white foam around the edge of the glass Aroma: Mild citrus aroma, zesty in the nose Flavour: Weird fruit flavour which I am guessing is the kumquat Palate: Strong almost musky aftertaste

Hazy orange under a small lingering fluffy white head that leaves some lace. Nose is citrus with Kumquat being the focus along with orange peel , yeast, wheat and grass with some light mineral notes. Flavour is follows with a light sweet base for a moderate citrus bitterness. Mouth is medium and slick with average carbonation and a slow fading bitter finish. Nice. 7+/4/8/4-/15

I decided to book a personal driver for the day who picked myself and my friend Laura up from our hotel at 10am and took us to Peles Castle, followed by Bran Castle. Within just a few hours we had allowed ourselves plenty of time to see and discover both castles, as well as stopping at the Rasnov Fortress on the drive home to Brasov..
