Svart med stort, tjockt skum. Rostad doft med inslag av kex, kaffe och saltlakrits. Känns mjuk och len i munnen. Smakar rostad malt och lakrits. Värmande, lite kärv avslutning.
Shit this is good. Although it could still be a bit stronger, the aroma is so durable and deliciously smokey. The alcohol goes almost unnoticed, and it''s creamy, bittersweet, umami as fuck if I even know what that is. Leaves me thirsty for more, which doesn't happen too often on this style. As delicious as anything that Dieu du Ciel brews. GregMooreNH (578) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - MAR 17, 2018
Pours thick, oily black with tiny, beige head. Aroma is heavy chocolate, caramel and roast. Taste start dark chocolate and light toffee, moving to heavy roast and strong hop backbone. Finish is slightly bitter hoppiness, mixed with roast. A good imperial stout.

Bottle, 355 ml, shared with JFK10000 and Max. Dark brown, medium light brown head. Alcohol in aroma, less in taste. Roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, sweet, nice bitter finish. Nice oily. Medium+ bodied. Would be way better without so alcohol present in aroma. karpik (1621) - Sosnowiec, POLAND - FEB 28, 2018
