Draught at Montreal pub. Ar: burnt caramel and dark chocolate; deeply toasted malt; a little cherry. Ap: black and opaque; medium light-mocha head with excellent retention, leaving a medium-small cap of solid foam. T: cocoa powder and coffee with clean booze; some burnt caramel; quite clean; a little cherry and biscuit; bitterness is medium and smooth. P: medium body with medium carbonation; medium-dry finish. O: a well-made imperial stout; not terribly complex, but east to drink, and sufficiently Rich and warming. bu11zeye (13215) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - NOV 8, 2017

Bottle at home. Pitch black with brown head. Deep roast, leather, quite fruity with blue and black berries, toffee, ash, cocoa. Very nice mix between bitter roast, and malty and fruity sweetness. Almost full bodied with soft carbonation. Lovely beer.
