Tap sample at DDC. Have to be honest up front - this is just not my thing. Pale straw yellow , pilsner and lager like, candy sugar, wheat, citrus and mild hops. Coats the tongue in a not so pleasant feeling - soap, partly sweet with a off tang. Finish leaves a bad taste on the palate.

Lubiere (14124) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 25, 2011
A beautiful blonde yellow helles with a lacing thin white head. In aroma, light chalky malt with faint butterscotch. In mouth, a crisp biscuitty malt with nice czech hops, light sweetness, refreshing. On tap at Mondiale 2011, June 12 2011.

Sammy (12484) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 15, 2011
On tap at Mondiale 2011. Pilsner like beer, European malts, perhaps Saaz hops. A nice helles, good drinkability that got lost in the rush to the big bold beers. Straw coloured body, little head. Still a nice one.

3.7
Diogène (1208) - Mirabel, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 14, 2011
On tap at Mondial de la bière 2011 (Montréal). Clear pale golden with a thin white bubbly head and good retention. Aroma is pale malt, hay, subtle floral notes, some citrus and a bit of sugar. Flavor is nice crisp malt, fruity notes, herbal, floral and a hint of citrus with a mild bitter and herbal finish. Medium body with lively carbonation. A refreshing and well made thirst quenching beer.

Quevillon (3143) - Boisbriand, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 13, 2011
Tasting at the 18th Mondial de la bière, June 9, 2011. Blonde straw, small head. Fresh aroma of pale malt, dry hops notes. Slightly hoppy taste of herbs, hints of lemon and bitter herb. Good beer of thirst!
