Draught at Dieu du Ciel. Pours a hazy amber with an average size slowly-diminishing creamy off-white head. Good lacing on the glass. Mild, sweet & fruity aroma, kind of reminds me of a freezie, along with some floral hops. Delicious hoppy flavour, dry with a long bitter finish. Medium+ bodied. Fantastic stuff! Draught, at Dieu du Ciel April 23, 2010. Nice bubbly deep amber hazy pour with a solid creamy milky-looking off-white head. Aroma is slightly sweet, floral and sort of leafy - hard to pin down, but nice enough. Taste is distinctive - dry, surprisingly bitter and intensely floral - hoppy but not west coast-y ... really pungent, dry, then drier - almost like essence of fresh pollen - 8+ ... thick, sticky mouthfeel, not much carbonation, but very astringent with a very long, sharp, pungent floral finish - and you begin to taste some alcohol by the end as well - not boozy, but it’s there. VERY good beer - quite glad I went for a full pint of this one.
