Draft at the brewpub. Cloudy golden ale, funky yeasty aroma. Thick rich taste of overripe banana. Easy on the clove and spice notes. Awesome. jredmond (8206) - New York, New York, USA - FEB 6, 2010
Sampled on BQ2010. Pour a hazy gold body with nice white head. Aroma of wheat and coriander. Flavor consists of spice, clove, banana and wheat. Very well balanced. bedainedebiere (537) - Terrebonne, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 25, 2009
Refreshing, of course well-brewed DDC beer. The lemony, slightly spiced, slighty bitter taste is all well-balanced. A very good beer TonyDiUlio (664) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 4, 2010

UPDATED: APR 19, 2004 (Draught) Medium, white head and a cloudy yellow body. Nose of bananas. Better than Hacker-Pschorr Hefe Weisse. Flavours are more complex and plentiful. Great beer for a cool autumn day... tiggmtl (4545) - East York, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 4, 2004
Strong banana and mild clove with notes of vanilla in the aroma. Cloudy, dark- straw coloured with thick white head that lasts nicely. Banana flavour dominates the wheaty base with pleasant, tart, citrus finish. Creamy texture and lively carbonation. Sampled 2003. muzzlehatch (4952) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 22, 2004
Pint at DDC in the company of tiggmtl. Bright, opaque luminous gold with a large but fast-decaying head...super-banana-rum-cream concoction of a nose, perhaps too sweet with little spice but splendid anyway. Bananas & cream on the tongue, just a bit of citric tartness late. Fairly simple and quite sweet, but very pleasant and eminently drinkable. Mmmm. BitchesBrew (716) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - FEB 19, 2007
[Pint @ the brewpub] Nice wheat aroma-- kind of sweet with some spices in there. Pours a very hazy golden color that almost seems to glow in the light. A very full-flavored hefeweizen, sweet wheat, banana and clove backed up by a strong yeast presence. Not quite as "refreshing" as the usual German Hefe, this is a bit richer in body and flavor. Extremely drinkable. This is yet another outstanding beer from DDC. Miguel (1181) - Saint-Ours, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 25, 2007
Robe blonde voilée surmontée d’une mousse blanche mince. Arômes de bananes et de citron. Saveurs de bananes, de citron, de levures et de fruits.
