Pours a cloudy golden color with a medium white head. Aroma of barky, resinous hops. Flavor of barky, resinous and somewhat fruity hops. The body is light to medium with a creamy texture and medium to lively carbonation. An interesting experiment with Bravo hops. LadySusan (766) - Ste-Therese, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 18, 2009
,On tap at Dieu du Ciel. The color is a hazy honey with a thin beige head. The taste is bitter and sweet at the same time. Very nice hops , fruits and spicies. This is a good pale ale. Lubiere (13796) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 12, 2009
A golden ale with a thin creamy white head. In aroma, light peppery hops aroma, more British hops in nature. In mouth, a nice crisp ale with herbal peppery notes, grainy malt, a bit buttery. Medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, April 8 2009. Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - APR 30, 2009
In short: A refreshing pale ale with a spicy hops character. Nice session beer.Eructoblaster (4183) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - APR 18, 2009
How: Tap at brewpub.
The look: Almost clear dark blonde body topped by a small off-white head
In long: The body is well malted but the malts do not bring a lot to the flavour spectrum. Moderately sweet but without much “sweet flavour” other than a light caramel presence. Dry crouton/brioche sensation. Interesting hops here, somewhat spicy and different. Orange peels, a little pine-tree and a pink grapefruit bitterness/tartness. Long spicy bitter finish. Very refreshing. A very nice pale ale even if nothing spectacular, a little round of applause for the Ovation.
On tap at the brewpub. Hazy amber body with low carbonation and a decent white foamy head. Good malty/hoppy aroma with herbal and flowery hints. Sharp hoppy taste that ends with a long, robust bitter finish. Enjoyable.

On tap at Dieu du Ciel as L’Ovation bravo pale ale. Pours a clear orange gold with a medium white head. Citrus and light pine hops on the nose. Medium bodied with a good amount of carbonation. Finishes with a bright grapefruit bitter. elihapa (1552) - Honolulu, Hawaii, USA - APR 6, 2009
On tap, referred to as “Bravo American Pale Ale.” Aroma is very floral. Palate is light and crisp, and primary flavors are a bold hoppy mixture of flowers and citrus. Hops are a bit sharp, even for my tastes. Reminds me a bit of Dale’s Pale Ale, though a bit less dynamic. This beer would go beautifully with some spiced fried chicken.
