Had on multiple occasions. Always good and fresh... very easy to sip and savour the smoothness of the coffee and dark chocolate notes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

PowY (1284) - AUSTRIA - JAN 29, 2018
341 ml bottle, bottled 7.11.2016 at Sander's place shared by Werckmeister, many thanks! Pours a very dark red-brown with a small tan colored head. Loads of coffee in the aroma together with dark, roasted malt - burnt wood, ash, tobacco. Full body with a soft carbonation, a light sweetness and a medium bitterness - very balanced. The flavor is again full of coffee notes along with roasted malt, chocolate, tobacco, nuts and earthy notes. Finishes with a nice roasty bitterness and coffee. Overall only the coffee really stands out but the beer is exceptionally well balanced - really good stuff!

341 ml bottle shared by Werckmeister, thanks!
Black body, with a small, creamy, coffee-colored head.
Lovely, smooth aroma of bourbon, tobacco, cocoa powder, coffee, dark chocolate, subtle dark fruits.
Tastes quite similar, with more coffee, a bit more booze.
Full, oily mouthfeel, with a low carbonation.
Finishes roasty, medium dry, wooden, with coffee, cocoa powder, tobacco, some bourbon, dark chocolate.

Very tasty. Incredibly smooth and well balanced, with the bourbon barrel perfectly integrated. Lovely, distinct tobacco notes throughout. Outstanding, like the regular Péché Mortel.

On tap at gollem in Antwerp Nice creamy Mocca head Nose is cocoa truffles and dark chocolate. When it gets warm the taste hits you with Cocoa with a very hidden barrel and vanilla note. Some boozyness, smooth rich bourbon. Some chocolate bitterness but just the nicest warming bourbon note.
