341mL bottle. Opaque, dark brown body, minimal tan cap. Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee. Taste boasts the coffee bitterness, roasted malt, chocolate, some molasses. Quite good. pootzboy (1735) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 10, 2013
Bottle - decants a dark brown hazed ale with ruby highlight. 2 finger frothy tan cap laces well - a beautiful looking brew in a glass. Aroma has elements of floral, pine roastiness and light malt sweetness. Very nice balance between west coast hopping and the roasty sweetness of the malts - a nice flush of thick roasty malts hit the palate first then the hops one in to perfectly balance this with piney-citrus peel bittering - goes to a long silken finish where increasing hop bittering compliments roasty astringence with malt notes riding just below this. A great Cascadian, jonnyguns (1105) - AUSTRALIA - OCT 5, 2013
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours a dark black with a frothy off white head. Nice lacing. Aroma presents floral hops, grapefruit and toasted malt. Taste is quite resinous with the floral hop bitterness coming through. Backed by roasted coffee and toast. Hint of smoke as well. Very approachable stuff.

UPDATED: MAY 4, 2014 Purchased at LCBO in a 4-pack of 341ml bottles for about $12. Beer is very dark in colour, taste is a stronger roasted malt. Brewery is very good, this beer is not bad, but not my favourite style of beer. Ketail (88) - Quebec, CANADA - SEP 28, 2013
Bu en septembre, belle couleur noir opaque, peu de mousse. Odeur légère de torréfaction. Goût de réglisse et léger goût de chocolat noir et caramel. À reboire sans problème. Une bonne black IPA!

It pours dark brown with ruby highlights (almost opaque); the head is beige and mousse-like. The aroma has notes of: toffee, biscuits, molasses, raisins, grapefruit-zest, and red-fruit marmalade. The taste is light sweet that finishes medium-heavy bitter; there are notes of: grapefruit-pith, pine-resin, roasted malts, and bitter-cocoa. The palate is medium bodied, has medium carbonation, and a long bitter finish. Overall, a very pleasant blend of roasted malts and bitter hops. jfb (6256) - GERMANY - SEP 22, 2013

341mL Bottle 6% at Beer Revolution. Pours a sinful black, with a bubbly tan head. Aroma is a violent clash between toasted malt, and piney, floral hops. Taste is extremely hoppy, resinous sticky piney hop notes tempered with a pleasant coffee, chocolate, burnt sugar sweetness of the toasted malt. Superb. NatKadaw (98) - Alberta, CANADA - SEP 15, 2013
One of my favorite breweries, but i didn’t enjoy this one too much. Hard to distinguish the bitter roasted maltiness and the hoppiness. More like a roasty porter. It’s ok, but not one of the better DDC brews.
