The little sister of l’Herbe à Détourne, a beer with distinctly tropical aromas from the Citra hops which complement the Belgian yeast’s fragrant esters. Its finish is hoppy and refreshing.

Forewarning: 341 mL bottle dated 2016-07-14, seven months old! Forgot to check. Pours cloudy yellow, frothy white head with great retention that sticks all the way down. Citrus, tropical fruit, belgian yeast, floral, and bit of resin aroma. Mild bitterness, dryness, smooth, good balance. Great beer, would like to revisit a more fresh version.

Bouteille.

Draught at the Ihku, Tampere, Finland. Cloudy golden color with a small white head. Sweet tropical fruits, mild sourness, yoghurt and some malt in the aroma. The flavor is tropical fruity hops, mild bitterness, some yeasty bitterness and yoghurty notes. Delicious! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Mooi goudblond licht troebel bier met parelende witte schuimkraag die langzaam wegebt tot fijn laagje. Mooi fruitig en bloemig aroma met lekker veel citrus en tropisch fruit. Beetje grassig. Lekker fris en fruitig in de mond, licht romig. Smaken van citrus, ananas, beetje banaan, lychee, meloen. Subtiele hoppige, licht bittere, afdronk. Topper !!

Pours a pretty clear light gold color with a nice white sticky head. Citrus aroma (lemon), pineapple, peach and belgian yeast notes. Taste is a not too sweet a bit dry. Medium bitterness finish. Medium body. It is so well balanced and easily drinkable.

An IPA with a nice twist of refreshing tropical fruit taste. This is actually quite unique and much appreciated. Another well done beer by the masters from St Jerome.

3/VIII/16 - 341ml bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: n/a, bottled: 4/IV/16 (2016-809)

Clear bright yellow beer, big aery fluffy off-white head, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of tropical fruits, bit yeasty, grassy, grapefruit, citrus, some pineapple. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of citrus, passion fruit, grapefruit, pretty bitter, citric acidity, almost sourish. Aftertaste: little metallic, grassy, lots of topical fruits, mango, grapefruit, bit sour yet, lemon, lime juice, bitter finish, lively one, didn’t get too much Belgian yeast, luckily. :p
