COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

The little sister of l’Herbe à Détourne, a beer with distinctly tropical aromas from the Citra hops which complement the Belgian yeast’s fragrant esters. Its finish is hoppy and refreshing.

341ml bottle, lot: 13, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Loose, frothy, pearl white head slowly diminishing over a misty yellow-gold body. Spotty lacing. Saison fruits, grass, and ripe lemon on the nose. Taste of lemony hops and yeasty fruitiness. Lingering fruity bitterness to the finish, mid-dry. Soft in the mouth. Nice and refreshing. (Tromsø 06.02.2018).

341mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out a nice mix of floral hops, Belgian yeast, light esters, and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with Belgian yeast, some fruity esters, and floral hops. Somewhat dry, doughy, and cohesive overall. Very good stuff.

2.8
jaghana (6412) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - JAN 4, 2018
UPDATED: JAN 6, 2018 Bottle 341ml, a golden copper beer with huge but thin structured head. Nose is herbal, very green vegetable like, grapefruit. Aroma is on the same, lot of green vegetables, lemony, grapefruit, lemongrass, thin body, medium to low bitterness, phenolic, not my cup of tea at all.
