Reddish amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is malts, alcohol, spices and some bready notes as well. Mild fruityness lurking. Flavour is raisins, plum, alcohol, spices, yeast, sweet malts and some roast. Alcohol coming through a bit too much to be really enjoyable. omhper (25095) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUL 8, 2009
Bottled at PBF. Clea amber, no head. Hevy caramel aroma. Sweet and full bodied. Intensely warming brandy with ever present caramel. Evident alcohol comes through more is a salty finish. The caramel and syrup gets a little bit in the way, but still a very enjoyable beer. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 23, 2009

Cloudy brown beer, small off white head. Light dry palate. Dry lactose sweetness. Whisper of chocolate. Trace of spice. Subtle sweet generic fruit. Finishes with more chocolate and a little spice. Decent.
Appearance was muddy dark with very little head and no lacing.
Smell was light spice, dark fruit and alcohol.
Taste was very sweet, combo of caramel and butterscotch. Really shows its strength, not really in a pleasant way.
Mouthfeel was solid.
Nice enough, but a bit challenging o drink because of the aggressiveness of the alcohol flavor.
