Tap at Spuyten Duyvil. Deep amber gold, hazy with a beautiful thick head. Rich spicy hop aroma. Lean with a soft lemon citrus and a crisp minerally lean maltiness. Light yeasty spice. Earthy and herbal hop aroma with a crisp minerally bitterness. Excellent balance of spice and malt in a very balanced Belgian ale. Excellent... I look forward to seeing more of this in NYC. mkobes (2142) - paramus, New Jersey, USA - FEB 29, 2008

Draft at SD. One of my favorites of the night. The Belgian yeast is the star of the show here, balanced beautifully with the soft fruit (peach/tangerine). Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - FEB 28, 2008
Tap at Spuyten. Pours a nice slightly hazy golden with a frothy white head and great lace. Aroma has lots of spicy phenolic belgian yeast character- some vanilla phenols and very peppery with some lemon zest hints. Flavors have the spicy phenols really coming on strong, especially with the green pepper aspect- doughy, some cookie dough- earthy and herbal hops and a bit hay-like and some grassy notes. Moderate mouthfeel wth some lingering spice in the back of the throat and moderately bitter. hophead75 (2012) - Largo, Florida, USA - FEB 28, 2008
on tap at Spuyten Duyvil. Hazy golden in color with a medium, long lasting off white head. Aroma is yeasty, with spicy phenolics, light fruity esters-pear mostly, and pale malts. Taste is also yeasty with some must and phenolics, light pepper and fruit-pear and light citrus. body is light to medium with some fresh bready pale malts and honey sweetness, as well as some earthy hops. Finishes with a light to moderate hop bitterness as well some lingering phenolics and yeast. This was a nice, straight forward belgian ale. Well done.

Draft at Spuyten. Blond pour with a little orange tint. Aroma is spices, and a tiny bit of sweet malt. Flavor is clove, spices, floral hops, and overall too spice-driven for me. There just isn’t anything to balance it out, and it ends up tasting medicinal. HogTownHarry (6622) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - FEB 21, 2008
Draught. At Dieu du Ciel. Pale gold, small white head. Sweet aroma of honey, alcohol and perfume hops. The taste leaned a little more toward the pungent floral hops, not quite as fruity/sweet as the aroma - decent balance here, dangerously easy to drink. Reasonably thick and syrupy mouthfeel, somewhat still, nice grassy/floral linger - a solid offering. blankboy (7662) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 19, 2008
Draught at Dieu du Ciel! Pours a slightly hazy yellow with an average size lasting creamy / fluffy white head. Aroma’s sweet along with light spices, fruit and yeast. Flavour follows the aroma and is like a light, easy-drinking Belgian Ale with a light hoppy finish. Average bodied. Very good, I enjoyed it. Gorbalev (3000) - Ontario, CANADA - FEB 14, 2008
On tap at DDC. Dark yellow, small white head. Interesting aroma - yeasty, lots of malt, a bit sweet. Really nice taste - Lots of light malt, yeast, and surprising amount of hops. Very flavourful. Great stuff. GregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 12, 2008
Draught (6 oz. sample) at Dieu du Ciel! Light golden with a small head. Aroma is fruity (orange & apricot) and yeasty - very Belgian. Flavour is full and sweet, with notes of honey and apricot, and a light, herbal finish. Quite nice.
