COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Rosée d’Hibiscus is a soft spoken wheat beer. The rose colour comes from the hibiscus flowers added during the brewing process. The aromas and flavour of this tropical flower are very prominent in the beer, giving it a slight acidity and a very agreeable fragrance. It is the perfect thirst quencher on a hot summer day.

Hazy rosey pink under a thin ring of lacey light pink head. Light herbal and light floral hibiscus and gentle dried orange peel in the nose. Brisk semi dry flowery flavor that's light and herbal and with a effervescent finish. Meh. Forgettable and not very assertive.

Bottle from La Fringale du Monde. Hazy dark reddish amber with a small short lived white head. Nose is floral with some raspberry, yeast, grains, some stone fruit and a touch of pepper. Flavour is lightly sweet with medium berry tartness and a touch of spice through the finish. Mouth is medium with active carbonation and a dry lightly spicy finish. 7/3/7/4/14

16.09.2017, 0,34l bottle @ home:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head, nice slightly hazy red-orangy color. Aroma is slightly sour-ish floral, yeast, sour grass, bubblegum, red fruits, minerals, banana, hay, flowers, winegum. Taste is dry mineraly, weeds, hay, bark, paper, yeast, sour grass, flowers, red fruits, sawdust, fruit stones. Medium bitterness, harsh floral mouthfeel. Not really my cup of tea.

UPDATED: SEP 9, 2017 Donker roze, fluffy witte schuimkraag. Floraal, licht kruidig aroma. Aardbei, hint pompelmoes, mooi fruitig boeket, lichte gistsmaak. Mooie droge afdronk. Hangt ergens tussen een fruitbier en een kruidig bier in. Er zit zelfs een héél fijn klein zuurtje in. Alles heel mooi in balans. Prima.

Dark red pour. Has a lot of floral aromas going on. Sweet syrupy taste. Touch of honey. Floral notes. Not bad

Tranquillity (2461) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 13, 2017
Draft at the brewery. The body is dark pink and the head is medium and white. The aroma has flowers and fruits like peach. The taste is less fruity yet creamy and tart, like a peach ice cream.

UPDATED: AUG 8, 2017 Very nice aroma with roses, flowers, fruity. The appearance is a very nice sparkling pink. The taste is a lot of roses, floral, flowers, I presume the hibiscus; the taste takes a wry and tangy turn. Very much to my surprise. I lost my compass for a moment there, left flabbergasted. The palate is floral and tangy. Long aftertaste. I’m not sure what to think of this stuff, but hey, it got under my skin.

Rated as a novelty ale. On tap at Dieu du Ciel on 8th July 2017. Copper with thin off-white lacing foam. Delicate floral aromas. Tangy fruitiness of berries combine with generous floral scents in the liquid pass, creating a novel and refreshing blend. Light to medium bodied with a zingy mouthfeel. A sweet, tangy finish. I have to confess to enjoying this beer.
