The Rosée d’Hibiscus is a soft spoken wheat beer. The rose colour comes from the hibiscus flowers added during the brewing process. The aromas and flavour of this tropical flower are very prominent in the beer, giving it a slight acidity and a very agreeable fragrance. It is the perfect thirst quencher on a hot summer day.

one of the most interesting beers ive ever had. definite floral aroma and taste combined with a trad wheat beer make it a great thirst quencher, but it is also a beer that you want to take your time with and really try and taste all the subtle characterictics. a little too acidic for me, could feel it on yhour tongue, but not terrible. just really interesting, good beer.

On tap at DDC St-Jerome. I’ve seen this beer many times and with its pinking look, I knew at one point i’ll have to try it. It’s very attractive an different ot others. I felt a taste somewhere between a mixed floral and light small berries, with a nice well balanced acidity. Even with its pinky look, it might be considered a white beer. As such I compared it to the "Blanche du Paradis" and enjoyed the Rosée d’Hibiscus more. Maybe that may sound like a stereotype, if I’m going to DDC with a woman, I may recommend the Rosée highly to her. For a deeper fruity/berry taste, go with the Solstice d’été aux Framboises. You just have plenty of choices depending on your taste or the context of your visit.

Bottle. Pours reddish pink. Sweet floral aroma. Heavy sweet flavour which tastes overwhelmingly of hibiscus. I quite like hibiscus so I was fine with it. Pleasant drink.

Bottle, 341mL. Home. A beautiful sparkling orange-pink bubbly beer with a small white head ; average retention ; ok lacing. Flower, red berries, herb, spice, metallic note. Light to medium sweet, round, light dry refreshing, bitter note, light acid. Light to medium body, thin texture, average good carbonation, sweet floral fruity acid finish. Overall, enjoyable spice/herb beer ! A good one in this style.

Bottle at Doghouse, Glasgow. Sweet floral aroma, restrained (a positive as not sickly). Hazy ruby red. Bright white head retreats to inside of glass. Grows in sweetness. Floral, slightly sour, fruit cordial. Medium bodied, a slight syrup texture. Dry, chalky finish. In two minds - maybe it’s the hibiscus element.

Robe rose orangée, un peu trouble. Peu de mousse. Nez floral et fruits jaunes. Goût également floral, pêche et poire. Final sec, on reste sur des fruits jaunes. Une bière originale.

Not a big fan of floral based beers and this doesn’t change that. Is a nice rose color with more flower and sugary flavors all the way through the finish.

Pours a redish body with a thin head. Nice aroma with a barrel like touch. Taste is complex and very interesting and rich on tones of flower, fruit and sugars.

backlog. Light pink with a firm head. Hibiscus dominates the aroma with some yeasty wheaty notes. Some slight sweetness that reminds me of ripe fruits. Nice enough.

341ml bottle (Bronco 2, Helsinki)
Hauntingly weird aroma, sweet fruity, floral, berries, maybe some wine, or sangria, tea, exotic sweet spices. Doesn’t matter how weird it is, I like it. Pinky orange, brief head. Watery palate, a bit slick and sweet almost flat like fruit juice. Taste kinda disappointing, sweetish and fruity, like a herbal tea. Finish is raisin stalks. Aimed high, fell short.
