COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
German inspired sour wheat beer (based on our Été Indien). The obvious and domineering acidity of this beer is obtained by letting the unboiled wort go sour for several days. The Solstice d’Été is made complete by the addition, during the fermentation process, of a phenomenal quantity of whole fruit (blueberries, raspberries or cherries) which compensate for the sourness of the beer. The result is a very refreshing beer where both acidity and fruity flavours dominate wholeheartedly.

Acid, a bit tart and fruity but I would have liked to taste the blueberries more.

Wonderful acidity of a berliner weisse which transforms into a sweet blueberry juice at the halfway point and finishes that way...From one end of the spectrum to the other, this weisse is well-done, but its sweetness gets tiring...I prefer their berliner with raspberries...
