341mL bottle, sent from Glouglouburp, pours dark dark brown with a reddish hue and small beige head. Aroma of dark fruits, oak, bourbon, and a molasses that lingers. Flavour of molasses, complex dark fruits, oak, vanilla and bourbon, with a smoky sweetness that lingers along with a noticeable alcohol burn. I enjoyed this a lot more than the regular Solstice d’Hiver. Thanks so much for the opportunity to try this, Dany!

Light brown and a bit hazy, has a fairly pronounced bourbon aroma, definitely sweet and a touch of raisin, cherry, soft dark fruits. jtclockwork (17100) - , New Jersey, USA - JUN 8, 2012

A: The pour is a dark amber color with a pronounced turbidity and a small and short lived khaki head.
S: Big time bourbon and oak aromas. Sweet vanilla, caramel, and toffee all the way through with a little bit of brown sugar and maple syrup. Bread and sweet dark fruits round the bouquet out.
T: Tons of sweet maple syrup flavor along with caramel and toffee. Sweet vanilla and bourbon flavor with only a mild oak flavor. Some of the dark fruits are there as well.
M: Medium in body with a smooth, medium body.
O: I thought the regular version of this was decent, but not great. This however, was outstanding. Benzai (16558) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - AUG 27, 2015
Bottle (2009 version) [from trade with yourilevesque] shared with kermis @ Night before crazy Danish ticking spree whilst planning to give Dean a wedgie - tasting. Opaque dark red-brown color with medium sized beige head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, heavy oak, (Dutch) "boomschors", pretty sweet, sticky resinous sweetness. Taste malts, (I’ve got) massive wood, loads of oak flavors, sweet, sticky resin, lightly alcohol though pretty well hidden. Full body, suitable medium carbonation. Ferris (16296) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 16, 2013
Draft - Bourbon barrelled - Bourbon oak and vanilla as expected. Cloudy mahogany with a thick small brown head. Boozy as all hell and a bit of acidity. Just order a bourbon, nothing beyond the barrel.
