Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured hazy reddish brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy dark fruit, toasted malt, vanilla alcohol and wood aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Bottle at Ryan’s hotel room after EBF’s Night of the Barrels. Pours a hazy brown with a thin white head. Boozy right up front with some vanilla and sweet caramel. Malty, more vanilla and chocolate. Finishes with a bit more warming alcohol and some more thick caramel. Pretty tasty now, but I can imagine this one developing a bit more. bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAR 18, 2010

Bottle from Youri. Dark n sweet, raisins and caramel and booze at the forefront. Really nice (and heavier than expected) barrel character in this takes what I didn’t think was a great BW to start, and turns it into a decadent sipper. Well done. Black and thick looking with a bubbly head. Above average mouthfeel. Bourbon aroma. Boozy.
A sipper. Thanks Josh.
