Coral coloured beer with a fresh aroma whose jammy flavours are well balanced by the acidity of the Solstice d’Été and the woodiness of the oak barrel.

341 ml bottle at Sander's place shared by Werckmeister, many thanks! Pours a dark orange with a white head. Aroma of raspberries, hints of mind vinegar, some sour berries - very balanced. Medium body with a low carbonation, a light sourness and a light tartness. The flavor starts with some sour fruits, tart fruits, gooseberry, raspberry, apricot, followed by some woody notes. Finishes dry with a light astringency. Overall good, could be a bit more balanced and with more raspberries. I enjoyed the smell more than the flavor.

Dark amber, hazy body, with a small, yellowish head.
Aroma with lots of raspberries, moderate vinegar,
Tastes similar, with more wooden notes.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a low carbonation.
Finishes medium sour, wooden, medium dry, with lots of raspberries again.

Tasty. Loads of lovely, fresh raspberries, with just enough dry, wooden notes. Outstanding stuff for raspberry-lovers like me.

Bottled 23.01.2016. redish / bourdeaux like color, small off white head. smells musty, raspberries, nutty, marzipan, flowery, very nice smell, very delicate. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, citric, raspberries, peppery, grassy, lightly leathery. finishes dry and lightly sour with notes of raspberries, earth and citric. nice one, raspberries could be a bit more present, but overall very nice one.

UPDATED: JAN 21, 2018 Bottle (2016/11/23). Appearance: nice cloudy orangey red with reasonable amount of chunks, nice medium foam ending up in laces holding on rather well, low to medium carbonation. Smell: complex brettanomyces aromas with smooth raspberry and subtle oak. Taste: quite complex taste matching mouth, including unripe cherry as well as overly sour but pretty juicy pinor noir, low to medium sourness, low acidity and sugar, perhaps slightly thin (due to aging?), either a bit overly dry and/or woody and oaky, low to medium drinkability and feel. Overall: probably the most interesting, complex and enjoyable use of brettanomyces from Dieu du Ciel I've had recently, successful blend and maturing of a below-average belgium IPA with brett and the famous Solstice d'été, excellent!

355ml bottle @ Alex's. Pours a cloudy dirty copper peach colour with a small off-white head. Nose is apricot jam, oakey notes. Flavour is wild yeast, apricots, with a nice oak character, with an overall dry character. This is very tasty.

Hazy golden color. Nice aroma, sour, with raspberry jam. It has some moderate sweetness, moderate acidity, strong flavor of raspberry jam, a bit tannic in the final.
Very good.

Bottle - Lots of jammy and berry notes. Cloudy orange and copper with a small white head. Raspberry, lacto and cheese notes with a decent finish. Nice.

341mL bottle, pours a cloudy peachy amber with a small beige head. Aroma is super jammy, with lots of apricots dominating upfront, with a touch of oak. Flavour is very dry and wild yeast-dominated upfront, with lots of jammy apricots, wood, oak, and wild yeast. Woody, jammy and bretty on the finish. Complex and wonderfully crafted. Excellent.

Pinkish and hazy, no head. This has a bit of raspberry on the nose. On the palate, with a nice delicate raspberry note, mellow lactic, bit wheaty. Solid brew.

Bottle courtesy of Ronny. Hazy pale red pour with a small frothy offwhite head. Fruity & funky nose with plenty of ripe raspberries. Lemon & barnyard. Sour, fruity & funky taste. Dry & tart mouthfeel. Great stuff!
