Bottle. Sour malt and peach aroma. Amber color with large head. Very sweet peach-apple malt and mild astringent finish. Strong acidity. Decent but forgettable. Christian (13670) - Odense, DENMARK - APR 24, 2008
Slightly cloudy golden, with a small white head that leaves some lace. Weak, but pleasant aroma is dominated by malt, with a little yeasty fruit, and some brown sugar. Refreshing flavour - sweet, fruity with a little citrus touch. SHIG (4962) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - APR 4, 2008
Bottle: Poured a golden color with white head. Aroma is grapefruit with some piney like hops. The taste sticks to that grape fruit taste with some metallic bite of hops to it. FatPhil (16102) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 12, 2008
UPDATED: MAR 13, 2008 Orangy red, small tight head. Sweet, perhaps slightly strawberry aroma - soft. Sweet and slightly fruity with sticky back-of-the-mouth bitterness. Malty aftertaste. Carbonation quite lively in the mouth, but not harsh. Good balance of grain kernels and light malts. Soft and mellow. Quinten (1062) - zaandam, NETHERLANDS - MAR 12, 2008

ZBF2008: From tap. Pours dark brown with a lacing white head. Light fruity aroma, mild yeasty. Smooth caramel malt base, light yeasty spiced and mellow. Goes into a smooth finish with a persisting spice note. Skinnyviking (9570) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 9, 2008
Bottle. Very high and creamy long lasting off-white head. Clear dark brown body. Caramel roasted malt aroma. Sweet caramel with notes of berries flavor. Low carbonation. Short sweet aftertaste. jacobwennbom (357) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - FEB 28, 2008
Amber, small off white head. Sweet but not too sweet. Lots of fruit, mostly of apples. Nice bitterness in the finnish. Medium body. The carbonation level is striking, though not disturbingly striking. In fact, there are not really any disturbing features in this satisfactory belgian ale. mike_77 (6668) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - FEB 6, 2008
Dark amber colour, thin head. Sweet sugary aroma with some fruit. Textureis a little soapy. Sweet candy flavour dominates giving hints of strawberry and orange. The malty finish is most welcome.

Nose of caramel, nuts, cherry, spices. Orange amber with flecks of lace. Juicy caramelised malt, wheat, possibly orange or lemon rind, just a hint of sourness. Kasteel Bruin shandy. Some traces of alcohol heat, but I’ve not had a beer for a few days. Ordinary amber ale.
