Had at the All Colorado Beer Festival in Colorado Springs on 11/7/09. Color is a golden amber with average carbonation and a small head. Aroma is a mild malt scent. Starting with a bold light body it goes down with a light crisp feel. Finish is a light malt flavor backed by a faint bitterness. Overall its an clean easy brew to drink but its a little boring. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - SEP 1, 2009
Bottle. Gold pour. Grainy and malty aroma and a surprisingly bitter flavor. Unpelasantly bitter actually. Not one I would go back for more. bleeng (1682) - Seattle still not near Beersel., Washington, USA - AUG 27, 2009
12 oz bottle purchased from the brewery. No freshness or ABV markings. Bronze/light gold color-very little head. Nose is honey, metallic, hay. Taste is light grass, a bit alcoholic (!), malt flavors are subdued and very little hop aroma. Nice body for a lager and easily quaffed. Well done-wish I had a few more of these. Honey and burnt caramel on the nose with some soft fruit. Brownish amber color, medium soapy head. Brown sugar and caramel, some nutmeg, great bitter balance. Medium carbonation, lighter medium body, fruity smooth finish. All around excellent beer, understated complexity of flavors and a well-balanced structure. jb43 (1650) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - AUG 14, 2009
(draft). Clear, light copper color. Small off white head. Grassy hop aroma. Light hop flavor. Avg duration. Smooth finish. Thin texture. Moderate carbonation. Fair lacing.

Pours amber with a faint toasted malt, caramel aroma. Flavor caramel, fruity, with a hint of hop. bblack99 (527) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - SEP 3, 2008
On tap at Dillon Dam Brewery in Colorado. Pours a bright amber with a great toasty aroma and flavor. walter (359) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - JUL 22, 2007
Draft at the brewery. Copper color with white head. Not much in the aroma department-- some faint maltiness and underlying bitterness. Flavor is mild caramel malt with some crisp hop bitterness in the finish. A bit watery throughout. Not bad at all, very drinkable, but not a knockout. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - JUL 14, 2007
Bottle courtesy of golubj; poured an orange amber, small quick diminishing head. Aroma was nice with caramel, toffee and bread. Flavor was of toasted malt, caramel and a slight hop hint. Good mouthfeel; somewhat creamy. csbosox (1229) - Prairie Village, Kansas, USA - JUL 9, 2007
Rating from 3/06. On tap @ DD. Amber color. Caramel, toffee aroma. Taste is caramelly, mild earthy hops, hops mostly for bittering. Not too bad for what it is, a light amber lager.
