Light brownish yellow in color. Pleasantly aromatic for the style with an equal balance of caramel, sugary toasted malt and floral hop aromatics. Sweet bready malt flavor with caramel and biscuity accents. Beaver (1846) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - AUG 30, 2005
12 oz bottle. Pours a clear orange-brown with a small fizzy head that quickly disappears.Sham (1844) - Seattle, Washington, USA - OCT 8, 2005
The aroma is earthy malts and sweet caramel with a touch of spicy hops.
The flavor is rather bland. It has some sweet watery malts up front with a bit of a spicy lightly bitter finish. The flavors become more apparent as it warms. The mouthfeel is medium bodied but watery.
Overall, a nice, albeit run of the mill, beer.
Light amber and a small head, almost no head. Musky and earthy hops in the nose. Sweetly malty flavors. Hops are bitter and fruity. Citrus in the tail.

12 oz bottle purchased from the brewery. No freshness or ABV markings. Bronze/light gold color-very little head. Nose is honey, metallic, hay. Taste is light grass, a bit alcoholic (!), malt flavors are subdued and very little hop aroma. Nice body for a lager and easily quaffed. Well done-wish I had a few more of these. golubj (1377) - San Mateo, California, USA - MAY 21, 2007
