On tap at the brewery. Color was dark amber. Medium head that dissapated quickly. Slight earth pine hop aroma. Taste was slightly hoppy but did not live up to its billing as an APA. I would call it a solid IPA. topherh (1929) - Kearney, Missouri, USA - JAN 14, 2009
On tap poured amber with a off white head. Nice hoppy aroma. Flavor is piney, floral hops with a little malt to balance things. jcr (2726) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - AUG 26, 2008
Bottle.Off-white, one-finger head atop a medium amber body. The aroma is moderately hoppy with notes of flowers and grapefruit. A hint of resin. Some sweet malt becomes evident in the form of bread, but the malts are not the main course. The flavor is lightly to moderately bitter to start and moderately bitter in the finish. Light to moderate sweetness. Light to medium body and plenty of carbonation. Water texture. Comfortable, smooth and fairly well balanced, yet not as robust as many APAs, especially those with Cascade hops.

on tap-pours a retaining thin off white head and gold color. Aroma is some citrus/earthy/floral hops, secondary medium malt. Taste is some citrus-bitter pine/earthy/floral hops, secondary medium malt. To my taste the hops are blended English/hallertau/northwest-nugget? Dry finish. Draft at DD. Suprising, in a good way, flavor for an extra pale ale. Probably more bitter/complex like an IPA. Nice body and just enough hops finish bitter. Enjoyable. RSRIZZO (2020) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - SEP 23, 2007
Had this beer on 7/3/2006. Aroma is a nice hoppy scent. Color is a bright gold with good carbonation and a lose head. Taste is hoppy and bitter. Starting with a medium body that goes down smooth with a sharp bitterness come in on the end. Finish starts off bitter then is back by a hopping flavor and ends bitter. Its got no malt flavor, its just bitter and a little hoppy. They should rename it as an extra special bitter, then it would fit better. csbosox (1229) - Prairie Village, Kansas, USA - JUL 9, 2007
Rating from 3/06. On tap @ DD. Copper color. Citrus hops on the nose. Taste is citrusy, mildly earthy, mildly piney hops. Caramelly malt backing. Moderately bitter. Finishes with a piney hops flavor.
