12oz bottle from Paul U. Chocolatey brown pour with a head that quiclu fades but leaves behind nice lacing. Not a strong aroma but it has nice chocolate notes to it. Flavor is sweet with more chocolate and caramel. Nice creamy mouthfeel and smooth clean finish.

Draft. Pours a thin head, no lacing, over a clear, light brown (SRM 20) body....nose is light coffee, light chocolate, bit of caramel, slight floral hop.....taste is similar with light sweetness (toffee/caramel) slight chocolate, coffee, bit of mild hop bitterness, the light sweetness lingered throughout, until the very end, when it became dry....mouth feel is on the light side of medium, carbonation makes for a creamy mouth feel. Bottle courtesy of bleeng. Clear brown pour with some ruby touches. Musty malts with feelings of cocoa bean as well. Roasted coffee as it warms on the nose. Taste is dry but has a coffee bitterness. Finish is less than desirable.

Tap at the brewery. Dark brown and filtered. Sweet, light burnt malts. Very light body. Typical brown-not much going on here.

GABF 2008. One of the few proprieters to be pouring his own stuff. Lightish brown, light toffee malt, medium fruit hop finish. A mild but solid rep of the style.

On tap at the brewery in Dillon, CO. Nice dark brown color with an almost-doughy malt aroma. Gold medal winner, but seemed very similar to all other browns.
