(draft 2/21/11). Clear amber color. Medium off white head. Moderate bready malt aroma. Flavor of the same, with moderate alcohol and light sweet dark fruit. Avg duration. Moderate alcohol finish. Slick texture. Moderate carbonation. Fair lacing.

Tap at brewery. Dark red brown appearance with a dark brown head. Dark malty aroma. Kind of watery flavor with a dark maltiness that’s not all that reminiscent of a Doppelbock. Crap crap. Dam crap.

Oakes (19434) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 26, 2008
Deep brown with golden highlights with a light head. Very toasty aroma with light chocolate notes. Light toast, chocolate flavour with a fairly big alcohol signature. OK.

Oh! I get it--Yo Han Bock. OK, semi-clear dark brown. Not much head. Roasted malt, grain husks. Sweet with chalky finish. Date sugar flavors. Meh. Ain’t nothing baroque goin’ on here!

BelgianBeerGal (4258) - Panama City, Florida, USA - MAR 2, 2008
Draught at the brewery. Clear dark amber colour with a tan head. Sweet aroma with hints of caramel. Decent mouthfeel but the flavour was little too sweet and definitely hopped up. Not bad, just different for a doppol.

Rating from 3/06. On tap @ DD. Dark copper color. Aroma is moderately malty and sweet. Taste is sweet with some caramelly malt and a bit of chocolate. The beer seems overly sweet and cloying. Nice body.

harlequinn (2744) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - JUL 22, 2006
Pretty good, that is my frist thought upon tasting this bock. Rich and creamy with some rich chocolate and sweet caramel, with a bit of nuttiness showing through as well. Some butterscotch, and other assorted bit of spiciness. This feel and tastes great. Well done!

BeerandBlues2 (14063) - Escondido, California, USA - JUN 18, 2006
Draught. Pours deep mahagony with a patchy off-white head and spotty lacing. Aroma is malt (grain, meal, cereal) and toffee, caramel, maple notes. Medium sweet caramel and buttery malt flavor, creamy brown sugar and yeast (sweat). Medium bodied, creamy and smooth palate.

PBOYNY (316) - Westchester, New York, USA - AUG 30, 2004
very strong bock, but lacking flavor, this seems to be a trait of DAM brewery, cant say much about this one, a bit boring
