The only beer from this brewery as far as I know, already stopped brewing meanwhile. A 75 cl bottle with a turkey depicted on the label. Snow white, not very stable foam, colour deep golden blonde. Clear if poured carefully but I am forced to stay careful, since the bottom of the bottle shows two inches of thick, disgusting proteins, which even seem to contain solid chunks - a horrible sight I fortunately encountered only a couple of times in all my years of beer tasting. Sharp aroma, chemical and lots of plastic- and spirit-like solvents diverting attention from what one should really smell: peach, lemon peel, brandy, mint, parsil, cloves, hay. Restrained fruitiness, dry mouthfeel, lemony sourishness probably due to infection, some caramelly, soft malts in the background, finishing in a chemical and medicinal astringency, scorching the shy attempt at hop bitterness the beer tries to make in its death struggle. This may well be the most failed beer I ever tasted, I almost felt sorry for it. Clearly I stumbled upon a bad bottle, but unfortunately I’ll never have the opportunity to give this a second chance. thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 24, 2010
(750ml bottle thanks to ericandersnavy) clearish yellow with a film of white bubbles. Nose of maple, buttery, cracker, honey and graham cracker. Taste is unsweet and dry, crackers, honey, alcohol and maple. Very dry unsweet finish. I apparently liked this more than most. bu11zeye (13215) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - OCT 21, 2010
