one of my least favourite beers from the berliner bierfest. straw colour, light peachy aroma, quite bitter but with something really rancid in there, i had to visit knobi bobby after this one to get the taste out of my mouth

kappldav123 (6094) - GERMANY - JUL 2, 2008
The bottle looks good, but a little bit too white. The beer in the glass is very zippy, but the foam disappears really fast. Starts modest spicy, mild, becomes sourisher in the end. Still spicy, drinkable. Not bad.

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Golden color. Sweet aroma with honey, pale caramel and herbal hops. Sweet taste with honey, herbal-peppery-piney hops, pale caramel and medium bitterness. Rounded sugary palate, full body. Quite refreshing but not so drinkable.

Heldere gouden kleur met een goede kraag. Ruikt fruitig, hop, citrus. Smaakt fruitig, citrus, houtig. Goede bittere afdronk. Goede pilsner.

Kristall-Knig (2820) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - JUN 14, 2011
Geruch hopfig-herb pilsig. Angenehm. Herber Antrunk. Anschlieend sanfter und getreidiger im Mittelteil. Abgang moderat herb mit ein wenig Malzse. Solide gutes Pils und eine Spur besser als das "Edel-Pils-Premium". Test vom 20.6.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Sulphury nose - Esthers cat didn't liked the smell at all :-) Golden color with a fizzy soapy head. Light hoppy taste, but very sulphury. Short bitter kick. Boring!

As Durstlsch Kamerad (which translates as thirstquench pal), steinie bottle 33cl. Clear medium to deep golden color, small frothy white head, recedes quickly to thin layer, minor lacing; aroma malty, toffee, Haagse hopjes, bit toasted, bread, grass, straw; taste mild moderate sweet and bitter, hoppy and bready; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, finish is mild bitter, slightly sweet; overall a well-made friendly pilsener.
