UPDATED: FEB 2, 2018 Draft. It poured gold with a thin white head. It has a clean malty aroma with floral and bread notes. Nice smooth finish.

Pershing (605) - Garland, Texas, USA - JAN 29, 2018
Clear gold with a fast diminishing head. Fair amount of carbonation in the form of tiny bubbles. Light malt aroma. Smooth taste with a perfect balance of hop bitterness for this style. Clean refreshing finish. I first had this beer while stationed in Heilbronn Germany in 1987. The shopette on my little Kaserne sold it for $2 per six pack tax free.

From the 16 oz. can with a 01/31/2018 expiration date. Slightly hazy yellow pour with a long-lasting tremendous white foamy head. The aroma has a freshness with the grain, barley, toasted bread, sweet, and grassy sensations. The body is about medium. The taste brings out the same sweet bread character and a clean, crisp finish like a Pilsner should be. An easy drinking beer.

ffbot (477) - Oakland, California, USA - DEC 8, 2017
Can is a smell of minerals, sparking water, and hops. Tastes of mineral and saaz hops, balanced and with a bit of bitter palate. Drying and refreshing, but perhaps a bit heavy on the mineral / iron taste

2.7
rumproasts (6052) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - OCT 24, 2017
bottle. Golden with one finger head. Fairly standard euro lager pils, lightly sweet corn and mild noble hops. Not as flavorful or crisp as better examples of the style.

4.4
Cavie (4905) - Arlington, Texas, USA - OCT 14, 2017
Can. Brilliantly clear, dark yellow color, white head. Light floral notes in the aroma, bit of sweetness. Hops noticeable on the nose. Clean fermentation. Floral hop flavor, biscuit malt, crisp finish. Great German pils.

From old tasting notes. Medium gold with a dense creamy white head. Good complex malt/hop aroma. Light sweet maltiness with a distinct hop character.mdelicious dry finish. Long dry aftertaste. Well balanced and flavorful.m

JorisPPattyn (10140) - BELGIUM - MAR 9, 2017
Clear golden beer, lively bubbled to huge, if not longlasting very light-yellowish head. Bit dusty, dry malts’ nose, dried herbs, ever so slightly grassy. Faint bitterness, near hoppy in the finish, and dry-ish maltbacking, but all indifferent, laid-down, uninspired. Carbonation, spritzy at first, then fades away. Light body, bit slick. Ho-hum Pilsener. GE has much better to offer.
